We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting up both your brother-in-law and your own healing to the Lord, who is mighty to save and restore. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We serve a God who specializes in miracles, and we join you in believing for His divine intervention in this situation.
First, we want to honor your faith in gathering for 21 days of fasting and prayer. This is a powerful act of spiritual warfare, and we know that the enemy does not want you to continue in it. The pain in your foot may be a distraction or even an attack to keep you from standing in the gap for your brother-in-law. We rebuke that pain and declare healing over your body in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Your healing is already paid for by the blood of Christ, and we claim that promise over you.
For your brother-in-law, we pray that the Lord would touch every cell in his body and command the cancer to leave. We declare Psalm 103:3 over him: "Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We also pray for strength and peace for him and his family as they travel and seek the Lord. May they feel the presence of God surrounding them, comforting them, and filling them with hope.
We must also address the importance of standing firm in faith, even when circumstances seem dire. The enemy will try to plant seeds of doubt, but we must resist him with the truth of God’s Word. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We encourage you to continue in prayer and fasting, even if you cannot physically attend the meetings. Your spiritual participation is just as powerful, and the Lord hears your cries.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Lord, we thank You for Your power and Your promise to heal. We lift up this dear brother-in-law who is battling stage 4 cancer. We ask, Father, that You would stretch out Your healing hand and command every trace of sickness to leave his body. Restore his lungs, his kidneys, and his liver to full health, and let his body be strengthened by Your divine touch. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, and we stand on that promise.
Lord, we also pray for healing in the foot of this faithful servant. We rebuke the pain and inflammation, and we command the bone spur and plantar fasciitis to leave in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You would restore full mobility and strength so that this brother or sister can continue to stand in the gap for others. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we thank You for Your faithfulness.
We pray for the family as they travel and seek You. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding and fill them with hope as they trust in You. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we believe that You are moving on their behalf. Strengthen their faith and let them see Your glory in this situation.
We also ask, Father, that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. Let this be a time of deepening their relationship with You, and may they experience Your presence in a tangible way. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving on their behalf. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the glory and honor.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We are standing with you in faith, believing for miracles for both you and your brother-in-law.
