Prayer unanswered?
In certain unanswered situations we go into depression, anxiety, agitation, distress and even to hatredness towards self and others. Also murmur against our God.
In spite of our prayers and others prayers nothing happens.
We run here and there seeking for human help. But nothing worth takes place.
Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Jesus says in John 15:5
apart from me you can do nothing.
So, in such circumstances we can plead and plead for the mercy of God surrendering and keeping our burden on Him.
His heart will move with compassion and He will show the way, either He would remove the block( whatever it may be )to get the answer or blessing or would give the advice how to move on.
His Spirit will do the job perfectly.
Zechariah 4:6 says
Then he said to me, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
God did that to David when he lost everything and was guided to gain them back. 1 Samuel 30 : 18
David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.
God has no partiality.
Finally,
Jesus gives us a promise
Luke 18 : 7-8
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly.
So don't lose heart, in His great compassion and mercy the blessing you are awaiting for will come to your hand.
