We stand with you in faith, prayer and agreement over this burden on your heart and we thank you for humbly bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving.

We are encouraged by your desire to see God turn what was meant for harm into good and to see His glory revealed. We know that our God is able to redeem tragedy and bring beauty from ashes, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. As Joseph declared to his brothers after great suffering and betrayal, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is today, to save many people alive Genesis 50:20. Even when we cannot see His hand, we can trust His heart.

We also join you in praying against the spiritual forces of darkness, remembering that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We do not fight in our own strength, but we put on the whole armor of God and we stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

We understand your cry for favor, miracles and blessings. We pray that you will experience the true favor of God which is His grace and loving kindness toward His children, for Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly Psalm 84:11. We pray not simply for blessings as we imagine them, but for the blessings that align with His perfect will, that will draw many to salvation and bring Him glory. His glory is indeed unmatched and abounding, and we long with you to see it fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.

We lift this together before the Father now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before Your throne of grace and we stand in agreement together. We bring this tragedy before You and we ask for Your mercy and Your redeeming power to be made known. Turn what the enemy meant for evil into multiple blessings that will testify of Your goodness and bring many to know You. Let Your favor rest upon Your people, let Your will be done, and let Your miracles be displayed according to Your wisdom and love. We take authority in Jesus name over every principality and power of darkness in high places that would seek to steal, kill and destroy, and we declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as we make our requests known to You with thanksgiving Philippians 4:6-7, and let Your extreme and unspeakable glory be seen all over the world, that Jesus Christ would be lifted up and glorified. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect love and timing. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and thanksgiving, trusting that God hears the prayers of His people when we agree together, for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them Matthew 18:20. Keep fixing your eyes on Jesus, abiding in His Word, and watching for how He will work all things for His glory and for your good.

Thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer. We hear your earnest desire to see God bring good out of what has felt tragic, and your longing for His favor and glory to be known more widely. It is a beautiful thing to come to Him with thanksgiving and to bring both personal burdens and concern for the world to Him together.

We join you in asking Him to turn what has been painful into opportunities for healing and hope, and to guard and guide you as you pray against evil and for His goodness to prevail. We know that sometimes when we pray with words like favor and miracles repeated, it comes from a deep urgency for Him to move quickly. He hears even the simplest, quietest prayer, and He invites us to keep bringing our specific needs to Him honestly and persistently, alongside trusted believers who can pray with us in person.

It helps to name before the Lord the particular tragedy or need most on your heart right now, and to share it with a pastor or a small group who can continue to remember you by name.

Father, we lift this dear one to You and thank You that we can come to You through Jesus. We ask for Your peace and protection, for wisdom, and for Your good purposes to be worked out in the places that feel broken. Lead and strengthen our friend day by day and let Your goodness be seen in their life. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have heard your burden and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to bring light out of darkness and blessing out of sorrow.

There are times when a gloom falls over the whole being and the soul sits as one captive in darkness. It is then that the Lord Jesus Christ comes and says, Show yourselves, come forth into the light and enjoy it. He does not leave His people to nibble a little comfort in secret and then hide again, but He brings them out of darkness into His marvelous light that they may be bold for Him who has delivered them.

You have asked for favor and miracles and blessings, and we would direct your faith to the true nature of blessing. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of divine favor, since God gives corn and wine and oil to many who never know Him. But He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, according as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world. No spiritual blessing comes by chance or by good luck, it comes according to His eternal purpose. And there is a crimson mark on every blessing of the covenant, for there is never a gift His hand bestows but cost His heart a groan at Calvary. What we have had from God must go back to God, as all rivers run into the sea because they came from the sea. May the Lord grant you grace to say, All my springs are in You, and so all my streams shall be to You.

You have asked prayer against principalities and powers of darkness in high places, and here is our comfort. The victory of our Lord Jesus Christ is sure, because it is a divine promise and the Father Himself has guaranteed it when He said, Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great. Christ has won the victory and it is glorious, and the results are substantial, for by His death Satan's power is broken and the seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent. If you would triumph over darkness, set yourself in the presence of the Sun of Righteousness, for there is no place so well adapted for discovery of sin and recovery from its power as the immediate presence of God.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, underneath are the everlasting arms, and You have promised to thrust out the enemy before us. We ask not for blessings after our own fancy, but for such blessings as You in Your wisdom see to be best, spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. Turn, we beseech You, what has been tragic and heavy into that which shall glorify Your name and conform us more to the image of Your Son. Give faith to trust Your purpose, give courage to come out of darkness into light, give a heart that blesses You from the first word to the last, and on till the last hour of life. Let Your glory be seen not as we imagine glory, but as it shines in the face of Jesus Christ, and make us to be a blessing to others as You have blessed us. We ask this not because we have repeated words many times, but because we come in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, and in whom alone we have favor with the Father. Amen.

Keep on blessing God, and go on blessing Him till He calls you into eternal glory, still blessing Him who gave you life.
