We join with you in this powerful prayer and we stand in agreement together before the throne of grace in Jesus name for the removal of every setback and hindrance that has been blocking progress for God's people.

We love your heart to pray not only for outward obstacles to be removed but for inward healing and renewal, because true forward movement comes when our minds and hearts are aligned with Christ. We are reminded that we are not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind Romans 12:2, and that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. When our thinking is restored and assured in Him, fear loses its hold and self sabotage is broken.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your presence, and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will. We ask You to remove every setback, hindrance, distraction, delay and scheme of the enemy that has been opposing Your people and their work projects and goals. We commit their deeds to You, trusting Your promise that when we commit our deeds to Yahweh, our plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We rebuke together the spirit of stagnation, fear, worry, torment and every mind binding spirit, for You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18, and we receive Your perfect love anew.

Lord, we ask for deep heart healing for every hurt and pain caused by how others have mistreated them. You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Heal what has caused them to dwell too long on pain, lest the root of bitterness take hold, and restore to them joy and wholeness. Give them a new and sure confidence and identity that is rooted in being in Christ, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. Let them know they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us Romans 8:37 and that no weapon that is formed against them will prevail Isaiah 54:17.

We ask You to fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit and to set their minds on You alone, for You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You Isaiah 26:3. Let Your will be present and override every narrative of the enemy. We resist the devil together knowing he will flee from us James 4:7, and we ask You to command Your heavenly hosts to guard and go before them, for You will put Your angels in charge of them, to guard them in all their ways Psalm 91:11. We thank You that You know the thoughts You think toward them, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give them hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11, and that You are doing a new thing even now Isaiah 43:19.

We speak confidence without fear over them, for You have said do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We thank You Lord for answered prayer, for Your faithfulness, and for the victory we have in Jesus wonderful name. Amen.

We thank you for bringing others before the Lord with such care. You named so many real burdens, fear that holds people back, old hurts that linger, distractions and delays that wear down hope, and that heavy sense of being stuck.

What encouraged us in your prayer was the desire for a confidence that is not built on getting everything right, but on knowing who we are in Christ. That kind of identity is steadier than accomplishments or approval, and it gives a place to stand when thoughts get distorted and fear feels loud. Renewing our minds is often a slow, daily turning back to what is true about God and about us as His people.

One simple way to keep praying with focus might be to choose one of the areas you listed that feels heaviest right now, maybe fear or stagnation, and bring that one specifically before the Lord each day this week for the people you love, noticing any small signs of forward movement and thanking Him for them.

Father, we lift Your people to You. Quiet the fear and torment that binds their thoughts, heal the hurts they carry, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them a clear sense of being Yours and courage to take the next step You show them. We ask You to outmatch every opposition and let Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been heard and it is good that you have brought these burdens before the Lord, for He alone is the helper of His people and the healer of broken hearts.

You ask that hindrances and delays may be removed. Know then that the adversary does indeed hinder the servants of Christ, as Paul said Satan hindered us. Yet if he were your friend you might have cause to fear, but since he opposes you it is a hopeful sign that you are on the King's highway. Sometimes also the Lord Himself puts apparent hindrances in the way of His own people, not to destroy them but to try them and so to strengthen them. What then is our duty when hindrances press upon us. Go on, hindrance or no hindrance, in the path of duty as God the Holy Spirit enables you. To allow Satan to overcome you would blast all hope of usefulness, but to press forward in faith is to see his schemes brought to nothing.

You ask for a mind set free from fear and for a sure identity in Christ. This is the very promise of God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, for I am with thee. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though His arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Labor then to get rid of fear by trusting the promised strength. Your confidence is not in yourself but in Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other. When you look to Him for all things, as a familiar Friend who is alive and present, He gives that overcoming glance which quiets the soul.

You ask for heart healing and for hurts to be removed. The Lord has provided healing leaves from the tree of life. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that pardon and healing are one. Come then with your wounds and your memories of mistreatment to Calvary, for there is the balm. He can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Let us pray with you. O Lord, forgive and heal Thy servant. Put Thy fear in their heart that they shall not depart from Thee. Let the Sun of Righteousness arise upon them with healing in His wings. Fill them with Thy Holy Spirit and fix their mind upon Thee alone. Remove worldly cares and distractions so far as they hinder prayer and duty, and teach them to be careful yet without carefulness, praying more and laboring faithfully in the work Thou hast given them to do. Let Thy will be done in their life and let the enemy be rebuked and put to flight, for Thou art our help and our shield. Establish them in the sure confidence of being in Christ, that they may move forward without fear, to Thy glory alone. In Jesus wonderful name we ask it, Amen.
