Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. God hears you when you cry out for deliverance and for protection over your daughter, and He cares deeply for both of you.
Scripture shows that God knows how to deliver those who are His. The apostle Peter points to Lot as an example, a righteous man who was deeply troubled by the evil around him, and God pulled him out. That is a reminder that the Lord is able to rescue His people from evil and to keep them. You are not left to fight spiritual darkness in your own strength.
The Bible also teaches that God puts a hedge of protection around His children. When Satan wanted to attack Job, he complained that he could not get through because God had placed a hedge around him. The psalm says God gives His angels charge over you to keep you. That protection is not because of any power in ourselves, but because we belong to Him through Jesus Christ. There is no deliverance apart from Jesus, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
If you have had any involvement with witchcraft, even out of curiosity or desperation, the way to walk in freedom is to turn fully to Christ. Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Confess to the Lord anything that has opened the door, renounce it, and turn away from it completely. Remove from your home anything associated with that practice, and do not go back to it for answers or comfort. Fill that place with the truth of God's Word, with prayer, and with fellowship with other believers who will stand with you. Deliverance is not a one time formula, it is walking daily in the light, abiding in Christ, and letting His Word dwell richly in you.
For the struggle with sleeplessness, bring that also to the Lord. Scripture says He gives sleep to His beloved and that you can lie down in peace because He alone makes you dwell in safety. Fear and spiritual oppression can disturb rest, but God is your peace. In the evening, set your mind on Him before you sleep. Pray, read the psalms aloud, and ask Him to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep a simple pattern of prayer at night, committing yourself and your home to Him, and trusting Him to watch over you through the night. If sleeplessness continues to affect your health, it is also wise to seek care for your body while you continue to trust God for your soul.
Be assured that God sees and values your daughter. In the ancient world daughters were often treated as less important and not even named, but God has always shown His care for daughters and He hears your prayer for her. You can trust Him to cover her. Pray over her, teach her to trust Jesus, and ask God daily to place His hand upon her and keep her from evil.
May the Lord do this work in you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one and her daughter before You. I ask that You forgive, cleanse, and deliver through the blood of Jesus. Break every hold of witchcraft and every spirit of darkness and fear, and set her free indeed. Fill her heart and home with Your Holy Spirit, Your truth, and Your peace. Give her rest at night, quiet her mind, and let her lie down and sleep in safety under Your watch. Place Your hedge around her and her daughter, give Your angels charge over them, and keep them from all evil. Teach her to walk closely with You, to stay in Your Word, and to find her strength and sleep in You. I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only deliverer and hope. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily, stay in the Scriptures, and stay connected to believers who can pray with you and encourage you. God is faithful to keep what you commit to Him.
