Beloved of All
Your request has been heard with deep compassion, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.
We know how heavy this sorrow is. To long for a child, to suffer loss again and again, and to desire so earnestly to give your son a brother or sister, is a burden that wears on the heart and the body. God sees this grief and does not turn away from it. He is the One who gives life, who formed us in the womb, and who is near to those who are brokenhearted.
We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you to conceive and to bear a healthy child, and that He would guard both mother and child in health and safety. We pray that He would strengthen your body, bring healing where there has been infirmity, and sustain the life He creates. We pray also for your son, and for your whole family, that whatever the Lord ordains, you would know His peace and His presence in your home.
Do not despair, even after many trials. As Scripture says, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees. Many who were sick have been made healthy by the grace of God, and He is able to preserve what is well and to restore what is weak. At the same time we keep watch and trust not in our own strength but in His kindness, knowing that He hears every prayer offered in faith, like the woman who touched the garment of Christ confident that she would be made whole.
So we ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our hope and our salvation, to have mercy upon you. May He comfort you in this waiting, take away fear, and fill you with patience and hope. May He grant you, if it be His good will, the gift of a healthy child to love and to raise in the nurture and instruction of the Lord, and may He give you grace to be thankful and to trust Him in all things.
We are praying with you and for you continually, asking that the Lord will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.
