We hear the cry of your heart tonight and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace, lifting your marriage, your husband, your home and your two precious daughters before the Lord. We thank you for coming humbly and honestly, not as one who claims perfection, but as a wife who recognizes that only God can restore what the enemy has tried to tear down, and that is exactly where His power is made perfect.

We rejoice that you have placed this battle in the hands of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that strongholds are broken and hearts are healed. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. You have come the right way, and we join our faith with yours.

Your desire for peace and joy in your marriage is the very heart of God for covenant marriage. Marriage is holy in His sight, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and what God has joined together no person and no spiritual force should separate. Matthew 19:6 says So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart. We take seriously the spiritual battle you discern, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The addictions, pornography, deception, confusion, harmful habits and outside influences you mentioned are not small struggles, they are sin that ensnares and strongholds that must be torn down. The Lord calls pornography and lustful desires adultery of the heart, Matthew 5:28 says that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, and 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us to flee sexual immorality. We rebuke those works of darkness and we pray for godly conviction and true repentance for your husband, not worldly sorrow but repentance that leads to life and to faithfulness to you and to the Lord.

At the same time we encourage you to continue to guard your own heart from bitterness and despair while you contend for your family. The weapons we fight with are not of the flesh. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. This is the promise we claim over your home tonight.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ we come before You tonight and we place this dear sister, her husband, their marriage and their two little daughters into Your hands. Lord You know every detail, every wound, every silent tear, every word spoken and unspoken. We ask You to break down every stronghold, every chain, every deception and every influence that is standing in the way of Your peace and Your joy in this marriage. We ask You to protect this husband wherever he is. Keep him from temptation, from deception, from pornography, from addiction and from every harmful habit and confusing voice that does not come from You. Visit his heart, Lord. Grant him godly conviction, clarity, wisdom and understanding to make choices that honor You and bless his wife and children. Bring him to repentance where repentance is needed, and restore to him a love for purity, truth and faithfulness. Put a guard over his eyes, his mind and his heart, and remove every person and every influence that seeks to be a home wrecker or to lead him into sinful desires. We claim James 4:7 over him, that as he submits himself to God and resists the devil, the devil will flee from him.

Father, heal what has been broken between this husband and wife. Renew the love and respect that first brought them together. Teach them both to love as You have commanded, with husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church and wives respecting their husbands, Ephesians 5:25 and Ephesians 5:33. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this home, Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let that peace guard this wife's heart tonight as she chooses to trust You even in pain. Strengthen this marriage according to Your will, shield it under Your wings, and let Your guiding path be made clear. Protect those two little daughters and let their home be a place of security, unity and godly example.

We surrender this entire situation to You, Lord, believing that nothing is impossible for You. Luke 1:37 says For nothing spoken by God is impossible. We trust Your power and Your perfect timing to restore, to heal and to make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming grace. Keep this wife steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with godly counsel, and help her to walk in forgiveness and grace while standing firm against sin.

We thank You Father that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we believe You are already at work. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast, dear sister. Continue to pray without ceasing, to speak the Word over your home, to fast as the Lord leads, and to keep open and honest communication with your husband as God gives opportunity, always with gentleness and respect. Seek wise, biblical counsel from a pastor or mature believing couple who will uphold the sanctity of marriage and pray with you. Trust that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up, Galatians 6:9. We are contending with you for full restoration, purity, and lasting joy in your marriage.

We hear the ache in your words as you come before the Lord late at night for your marriage, your husband and your two little girls. It takes real courage to admit how much you are hurting and to keep choosing trust when there have been so many wounds, silences and tears no one else has seen.

We join you in bringing your whole family before God. We are asking with you for His protection over your home from every influence that leads toward deception, addiction or confusion, and for wisdom and clarity for both of you as you make daily choices that affect your unity and your daughters. We also hear your deep longing for love and respect to be renewed and for peace and joy to return.

You do not have to carry these long nights alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor or mature couple who knows you, consider inviting one safe person to walk with you steadily in prayer and wise counsel, not to offer quick fixes but to support you over time. Keeping your heart honestly before the Lord as you are already doing is itself a faithful step, and having someone nearby can help you stay strengthened in the waiting.

Father, we lift this wife, her husband and their two daughters to You tonight. Guard their home and each heart, lead them away from what would harm them and toward what is good and true. Heal what is broken according to Your will, give clear wisdom for each decision, and give this mother Your nearness, peace and strength for each day. We place this family in Your hands in the name of Jesus, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer in the quiet hours of the night has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. You have done well to bring your marriage, your husband, your home and your two little daughters and to lay them in the hands of the Lord, for there is no other refuge for a wounded heart.

The Scripture declares that the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are set aloft, and that the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. Strongholds are not like temporary camps which are pitched for a night and then removed. They are fortifications intended to stand from generation to generation. When the hounds of hell and the dogs of temptation are let loose against a home, the soul must flee to its dear God for safety, and there find shelter. He can look down upon every trial and every malicious attack, for God Himself is his strong tower.

You have asked rightly that the Lord would break down every stronghold and remove everything that stands in the way of His peace and joy in your marriage. We pray with you that He would keep your husband from deception, from addictions, from pornography and every harmful habit, from confusion and from every influence that does not come from God. We pray that the Lord would visit his heart, grant him godly conviction and wisdom to make good choices not for selfish ends but for the blessing of your family and the unity of your marriage. May the Lord bring repentance where there has been sin, clarity where there has been confusion, and understanding where there has been silence and wounding. May He heal what has been broken and restore and renew that love and respect which first brought you together, according to His perfect will.

We also pray as our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One. Temptation in itself is a dangerous thing, and it is right for the Christian to pray, Oh, save me from the mischief of the temptation. Let me not stain my garments, let me not slip nor slide, but may I stand fast. We ask the Lord to protect your marriage from those who would wreck a home and from all who come with evil intentions. May He shield your covenant and set it upon His guiding path, and remove every influence that would lead to temptation or sinful desire. The man who prays Lead us not into temptation must not then walk straight into it, and so we pray that your husband may be kept from the very place of temptation, and that your home may be kept pure.

Take comfort also in the restoration of Peter. He fell grievously, yet by a look from the Lord and by the grace of Christ who had prayed for him before the temptation came, he was restored and made to strengthen his brethren. Our Redeemer still lives to intercede, and He is able to restore the fallen, to forgive the penitent, and to make those who have wandered to become better and more tender followers than before. Nothing is impossible with God. What the enemy has tried to destroy, the Lord is able to rebuild.

Therefore we place your marriage before the Lord again, asking for His divine intervention in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. We pray that even in the midst of pain you may be kept in trust, that you may pant after God as the hart pants after the water brooks, and find Him to be your eagerness and your delight. May the Lord give you peace in waiting upon His timing, strength to continue in prayer, and faith to believe that He who has begun a good work is able to complete it.

We pray that the Lord will guard your heart, guard your husband, guard your daughters, and guard your home, and that He will be glorified in making your marriage strong in Him. Amen.
