We lift up your parents with heavy hearts, longing for them to experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. The Word tells us, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We join you in praying that their hearts would be softened, their eyes opened, and their spirits awakened to the truth of the Gospel. May they hear the voice of the Good Shepherd calling them by name, and may they respond in faith, laying down every hindrance and turning fully to Him.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We rebuke every satanic plan, every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, or destroy, and we command it to be dismantled in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth shatter every lie that has taken root in their minds or hearts. We pray for a hedge of protection around them—spirit, soul, and body—so that no evil may touch them (Psalm 91:10-11 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You grant this dear one wisdom that surpasses human understanding, protection that defies natural circumstances, and a way of escape in every trial, just as Your Word promises: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). May they walk in discernment, recognizing Your voice above all others, and may they be led by Your Spirit in every decision.
We also pray for their spiritual growth and maturity, that they would not only know You but walk in intimate fellowship with You. May they be rooted and grounded in love, strengthened with power through Your Spirit, and filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB). Let their lives be a testimony of Your grace, drawing others to You.
Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in every situation. May Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven, and may they surrender fully to Your purposes. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
