Silas
Beloved of All
I am praying with you for peace in your workplace and for protection from the harassment, gossip and negativity you are facing.
The desire for peace at work is a right and good desire. God wants you to have peace, and He has made a way for you to have it. First you need peace with God, which comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ who made peace for us on the cross. When you have peace with God through faith in Jesus, you can then experience the peace of God in your heart, even while you are in a difficult and chaotic environment.
Scripture promises that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, and that His peace, which goes beyond what we can understand, will guard your heart and mind in Christ. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. The world cannot give or understand this peace. It comes as you keep your thoughts turned toward Him and trust that He will take care of what concerns you. That peace is multiplied as you grow in knowing God and Jesus our Lord.
I also join you in praying that truth will be revealed and lies uncovered. Truth endures forever. Jesus said His word is truth, and heaven and earth will pass away but truth will remain. People may twist words and spread gossip for a time, but God sees and knows all, and in His way and time He brings what is hidden into the light. Mercy and truth have met together in Jesus, and righteousness and peace have kissed. Because of Him you can stand righteous before God and have peace with Him, and you can trust Him to be both merciful and just in your situation.
While we are in this present world, where strife still rules, we will not see perfect peace everywhere until Jesus comes to establish His kingdom. Until then, He calls His children to walk in truth and to live by the wisdom that comes from above, which is peaceable and gentle. That wisdom leads to inner peace, and then helps you to have peace with others as much as it depends on you. Those who sow in peace will reap a harvest of righteousness.
So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, that He would shield you from harm at work, quiet the gossip and fighting, and bring a calm and respectful atmosphere. I pray that every twisted lie would be exposed and the truth made clear, that your coworkers and supervisors would see what is true, and that you would be kept in that steady, complete peace as you keep your mind on Him. May grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you in truth and love, and may you know His presence guarding you day by day.
