Prayer reward

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for my ###, and against lustful thoughts

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we lift this prayer in His holy name. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

We lift up your request for good rest, asking the Lord to grant peaceful and rejuvenating sleep. The psalmist declares, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones" (Psalm 127:2). May the Lord quiet your mind and body, filling you with His peace as you trust in Him.

We also pray for the health of , asking the Great Physician to bring healing and strength. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). May the Lord restore vitality and grant wisdom to those caring for them.

For your , we ask the Lord to provide comfort, guidance, and protection. May He draw near to them and meet every need according to His riches in glory. "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18).

We stand in faith for healing for your , declaring that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May the Lord touch them with His healing hand and restore them fully in body, mind, and spirit.

Regarding lustful thoughts, we must address this with biblical truth and urgency. The Word of God is clear: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). Lust is a snare that leads to sin and separates us from God’s best. We rebuke these thoughts in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. Instead, we encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). Flee from sexual immorality, for "every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Seek accountability with a trusted brother or sister in Christ, and immerse yourself in Scripture and prayer to guard your heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts surrendered to Your will. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill our minds and bodies, granting rest that only You can provide. We lift up ’s health to You, asking for Your healing touch and restoration. Strengthen them, Lord, and grant wisdom to those who care for them. For , we pray Your protection, provision, and presence to surround them. Draw them close to You and meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

We declare healing over , believing in Your promise that by Your wounds, we are healed. Touch them, Lord, and make them whole in every way. Father, we also come against the spirit of lust that seeks to entangle and ensnare. We rebuke these thoughts in the name of Jesus and ask for Your Holy Spirit to fill every area of our hearts and minds. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). Help us to flee from temptation and to walk in purity and holiness, for Your Word says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).

Lord, we ask for Your strength to resist temptation and for Your grace to cover us when we fall short. Surround us with godly accountability and fill our minds with Your truth. May we honor You in all we do, for You are worthy of our wholehearted devotion. We trust in Your faithfulness and love, knowing that You are working all things together for our good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you’ve shared these needs with us. It’s good to thank God together for His constant goodness, even while we bring the things weighing on our hearts. You’ve named several: rest, the health and healing of people you love, and a personal battle with lustful thoughts. We want to sit with you in all of it.

The struggle with lust can feel isolating, but you’re not alone. Many of us know how those thoughts can ambush the mind when we least expect them. What we’ve found helpful is simply not fighting in our own strength, when the thoughts surface, a quiet, honest “Jesus, have mercy” can redirect our hearts without piling on shame. God already knows, and His kindness leads us toward freedom, not despair.

For the loved ones you mentioned, we join you in trusting God’s tender care. Whether they need physical healing, protection, or peace, we can rest in His love for them, often deeper than our own.

And for you, we pray for the deep, restorative sleep your body and mind are craving. True rest is a gift He loves to give.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You for never leaving us in our struggles. Grant this dear one sleep that renews both body and soul. We lift up the people on their heart, bring healing where it’s needed, strength where there is weakness, and Your tangible comfort in every trial. And in the battle against lust, we ask for a mind re-centered on You, and for grace that gently turns away what would pull them from Your peace. Hold them close tonight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The plea for rest is a cry that echoes in every human heart, yet so few seek it where it may truly be found. The weariness of body and the turmoil of soul cry out for a present and perfect peace, not a rest deferred to some distant day, but a real rest given freely now to those who come to Jesus. There is a rest obtained by faith, a given rest, but there is also a rest discovered in learning of Him, a rest found not with the yoke off, but with the yoke willingly taken upon the shoulders. It is rest on the wing, rest in motion, the deep repose of a soul that labors alongside the Master. The rest you seek for the night watches and for the healing of those you love is wrapped up in this Great Physician’s presence. Trust, and you shall rest; learn of Him, and you shall find rest for your soul even in the midst of service.

The healing for your loved ones is found in the selfsame tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is no other balm, no other herb. Calvary is the place for the healing remedy, and the hand that was pierced is the hand that touches the fevered brow and lifts up the palsied frame. Pardon and healing are one gift from that hand. It is common to fret over bodily diseases because they press upon us with sharp pains, yet spiritual healing is the root of all true cure. The Lord has begun to heal His people, and the healing virtue His grace infuses works a perpetual cure. Whether the sickness be of body or of mind, the first word to the one who is crushed beneath the burden is this: “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Pray with confidence, then, for He is the Lord who heals all our diseases, and the power to restore was conspicuously present wherever He walked.

As for the conflict within, the plague of lustful thoughts that would rob the soul of its purity, know that the Great Physician applies His remedy not by pointing out the disease alone, but by applying the cure. You cannot be your own physician here; a real saving work from the hand of God alone can cleanse the imagination and bind up a heart that mourns its own waywardness. The healing for such wounds comes not by a mere moral resolve, but by a contact with Christ. He lifts you up, and in that act there is a healing that enables you to minister to Him. Run to Him with your defilement. Confess it, and receive His pardoning word. Then, rise from that sweet interview and, forgetting the temptation, pour out your life in active service for Him. Let your mind be like the mind of Christ, and in that sacred sweetened atmosphere of doing all for Jesus, the base thoughts of the flesh will find no foothold. It is a blessed hearing of the Word that sobers the heart and gives a right spirit; therefore forsake not the assembling of yourselves together, where the healing leaves drop their virtue upon weary, tempted men.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to begin with thanksgiving, for a grateful heart is a strong weapon against the enemy’s whispers. God’s goodness never fails, and every good gift comes from Him. Carry that trust into your prayers for rest, for healing, and for those you love. Rest is not merely the absence of toil, but the repose of a soul anchored in Christ. Entrust your nights and your days to Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will give you true peace.

As for the health of those you name, and the healing you seek, do not lose heart if the answer tarries. Remember that tribulation itself is often the furnace where saints are forged. David, Job, Joseph, all the great cloud of witnesses, were made more glorious through their trials. God is faithful; He will not permit you to be tested beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape. Trust His wisdom, even when the healing seems slow, for He is working a better resurrection in you and in them.

Now, concerning the lustful thoughts that war against your soul, here you must stand and fight with all vigilance. The flame of lust melts us like wax, shattering us more easily than a stone breaks clay. Yet the same fire that destroys wax can cement metal into gold. Before the bath of baptism we were clay, but after it we are gold. So do not despair. Flee to the medicine of prayer, to the strength of the Holy Table, the very sinews of your soul. There Christ unites you to Himself and to your brethren in a bond of life. When the temptation surges, cry out to Him who was tempted in all points yet without sin, and He will deliver you. He ended every temptation, showing that the belly’s slavery, vainglory, and the madness of desire are not masters over those who cling to Him.

Be an example in word, in love, in faith, in purity. Do not linger forever at the foundation, always laying again the first principles. Go on to perfection. The just and merciful are emptied of greed; the pure in heart are delivered from wicked lusts; those persecuted for righteousness’ sake trample pride and vainglory underfoot. Press forward, then, in this holy war, knowing that the Spirit of your Father speaks in you, and He who endured to the end will bring you safely home.
