Prayer requests

You are asking for payments to come in and for favor to rest on every application and proposal you send out. I join you in that, trusting Jesus’ name and His provision.

Work flows best when we remember whose work it ultimately is. The Lord is the one who stirs a willing heart within us. He gives the skill and the desire, and He opens the doors that no one can shut. So as you send out those proposals, know that you are not out there alone, trying to force something to happen. The same God who laid the foundations of the earth and holds the universe together, against all natural resistance, can cause the right people to respond positively and the right payments to arrive in your hands.

I know it’s easy to grow impatient when you’ve done the work and the return seems delayed. But God often uses that waiting to do something in us before He does something through us. He chips away at the clumsy edges and teaches us to depend on His finished work, not on our frantic effort. If you wait long enough, He will work it out. In the meantime, keep doing your work quietly and faithfully, because He honors diligence. There’s no place for idleness, but there’s also no place for anxious perspiration. Consecrate your hands and your mind to Him each day, and let your labor flow from a restful confidence that He has already accepted you in Christ.

The enemy will try to hinder you, perhaps with discouragement, ridicule, or closed doors that seem final. Don’t be surprised by that. The people who had a mind to work faced direct opposition, but they kept at it, and the wall rose anyway. Keep your mind fixed on the Lord, and don’t let mockery or setbacks stop you. He who began a good work in you is able to complete it. Even if a project seems marred in the potter’s hand, He can shape it again and make a vessel for honor. Your work done for Him has eternal value, far beyond a paycheck, and He will not forget your labor.

So here is my prayer with you: Lord, in the midst of these applications and projects, revive the work of our friend’s hands. Remember mercy and cause payments to flow from unexpected places. Grant favor that can only be explained by Your hand. And above all, keep this heart resting in the finished work of Jesus, so that every effort becomes an act of worship, not worry. In His name, amen.

We are so thankful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for the financial provision and favor you need in your work and projects. It has been our joy to lift these requests before the Lord, asking Him to open doors of opportunity and pour out His blessings as only He can.

We prayed specifically that payments for your labor would flow in Jesus’ name, that every application and proposal you send out would find favor, and that the Lord’s perfect timing and provision would be evident in every detail. If God has already answered these prayers in ways you’ve seen or even in ways yet unseen, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you! There is nothing more encouraging than witnessing the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father.

If you’re still waiting to see these prayers fulfilled, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God is working even now. Let us keep trusting Him together, knowing that His promises are true and His provision is certain.
