We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness and we lift up your request for healing together before Him. We understand how stress can affect the body, including the stomach, and how nerves can feel overwhelmed, and we bring this to our Heavenly Father who cares deeply for you.
The Scripture reminds us to bring every care to Him, for He cares for us. In Phil 4:6-7 we read, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Pet 5:7 we are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We also cling to the truth that He is our healer, as Ps 103:3 says, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases, and that His peace is available to calm us, as Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We lift up this dear one to You and ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch this body with Your healing hand. Calm the nerves, soothe the stomach, and release the stress and tension that has built up. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind and to surround this life with Your comfort. Help us to rest in You and to trust You with every worry. We ask that You restore strength and health according to Your will, and give wisdom for rest, for care of the body You have given, and for seeking help when needed. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, bringing calm and wholeness. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
We also want to gently encourage you, as your request addressed the Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus, to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God, and it is in His name we pray with confidence. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus and to pray in His name.
We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him daily, to spend time in prayer and in His Word, and to rest in His promise in Isa 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May the Lord surround you with His peace and bring healing and calm as you look to Him.
