We rejoice with you in praising the Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for sharing this request about your son and his hydroponics research and development start up. We understand the weight of four years of labor, huge investment, and waiting without income, and we also rejoice with you that you are seeing development and progress. This is evidence of diligence and perseverance, and we want to stand with you in prayer for the Lord to bring this work to fruition in His perfect timing and will.

Scripture reminds us to commit our labor to the Lord and to trust Him with the outcome. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. We are encouraged that your son has remained faithful in this research, for Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we work as unto the Lord with integrity and diligence, He sees and He honors that service.

We also pray for wisdom and provision. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Starting a business that requires deep research and large capital needs godly wisdom for stewardship, decision making, and discerning the right investors and customers. We pray the Lord will grant your son clear wisdom and surround him with honest, trustworthy counsel and partners. Philippians 4:19 reminds us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 teaches us But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. As your son seeks the Lord first, we trust God will open doors for provision in His way.

We also want to encourage you both not to be anxious during this waiting season. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The Lord knows the needs for investors and customers, and He is able to bring the right people at the right time who will value the work and support it with integrity.

We join together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your goodness and for the progress You have already allowed in this hydroponics research and development business. We thank You for the gift of creativity and diligence You have given to this son, and for a parent who faithfully prays and encourages him. Lord, we commit this business and all its plans to You. We ask that You establish the work of his hands and lead him step by step. Grant him abundant wisdom, discernment, and understanding for every technical and business decision he must make. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You bring godly investors and faithful customers who will act with honesty and fairness, and that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that should not be entered. Let this business be built on integrity and be a blessing to many, and let it bring glory to Your name. Guard this family from discouragement and anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they continue to trust in You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to keep committing this work to Him daily, to seek wise and godly counsel in business matters, and to give thanks for each small development, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun. We will continue to pray with you for success, provision, and open doors for investment and business according to God’s perfect will.

We thank you for letting us know about your son and his work. Four years of research and development with heavy investment and no income yet is a long road, and we can hear both your concern as a parent and your joy that you are finally seeing development take shape.

That mix of waiting and hope is not easy to carry. It is good that you can celebrate the progress even while you keep trusting God for what is still needed.

We will keep praying with you for his work, for wisdom in each next decision, for provision, and for the right investors and customers in God's timing. It can also help to have a couple of trusted, experienced voices walk alongside him, people who understand both the technology and the business side, who can help him describe clearly what has been achieved and what is needed next. That clarity often helps when talking with potential partners.

Father, we lift ### and his son to You. Thank You for the skill and perseverance You have given him and for the signs of growth after so much labor. Give him wisdom, steady encouragement and guidance for each step ahead. Provide for their needs and open doors for honest, reliable investors and customers according to Your will. Guard their hearts with peace as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

[Spurgeon]

We give thanks with you for the mercy that has sustained your son through four years of labour in research and development, and we rejoice to hear that development is now coming forth after so long a season of investment and waiting. The Lord who sees in secret sees also diligence in business, and we have brought your request before Him in prayer.

You have done well to commit this matter to prayer, for there is a laudable pursuit in honest business when it is carried on with diligence and integrity. As we have often said, if you make your own business God's business, you will do your business well. You need not turn aside from the way of business to serve your Father, for it is sweet employment to serve Him even there. When a man's calling is placed under the hand of God, his labour becomes service.

We have prayed that the Lord would grant your son wisdom and skill as he continues in this hydroponics work, that He would provide what is needed for the work to be established, and that in His providence He would bring faithful investors and customers who will deal justly and honourably. We have asked that the Lord would open doors which no man can shut, and close those which should not be entered, and that He would give steadiness and patience to persevere.

We would encourage you and your son to continue to commit your works unto the Lord, that He may establish your thoughts. Pray over the whole business, and be much in the Word, that your judgment may be guided and your heart kept from either sloth or greediness for gain. Diligence in business is pleasing to God when it is joined to contentment and trust in His provision, knowing that promotion cometh neither from the east nor from the west, but God is the judge.

May the Lord make this business useful not only for provision but for His glory, that whatever success He grants may be used to do good and to show forth His goodness to others. We pray that whether the harvest be soon or yet delayed, your son may know the greater business of seeking first the kingdom of God, and that you both may find your hope and peace in Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us.

We will continue to remember you both before the throne of grace, asking the Father to grant favour, wisdom, and a clear path forward according to His perfect will.
