Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and for giving praise to Jesus Christ. It is a beautiful thing to see a parent's love and concern for a son, and God understands that love deeply. Scripture shows the love of a father for his son as one of the strongest pictures of love on earth, and it points us to the love of the Heavenly Father who gave His only begotten Son for us. When Abraham was called to offer Isaac, his only son whom he loved, God was foreshadowing what He Himself would do when He gave Jesus to be the sacrifice for our sins. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and this life of eternal hope is found only in Him. Whoever has the Son has life. That is the first and greatest need for each of us, and for your son, that he would know and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Because God is our Father through faith in Christ, we are not strangers to Him. Through Jesus we receive adoption as sons and daughters, and God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts so we can cry to Him as Father. He hears the prayers of His children and He is in the business of restoration and of showing His power and mercy in the midst of a fallen world. He also is the giver of true wisdom. As the Scriptures encourage a son to receive wisdom, to incline his ear to understanding, and to cry out for knowledge, so God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. In business, in research, in daily work, we need that wisdom from above, and we can ask Him for it.
I join you in prayer for your son. I pray that the Lord will give him clear wisdom and understanding in this long season of research and development, that God will guide his hands and mind in the work of hydroponics, and that in His perfect timing He will open the door for fruitful business and for good customers. I pray that God will provide for his financial needs and lift the weight of pressure and stress he is carrying. May the Lord exchange his anxiety for peace, and help him to cast all his cares upon Christ who cares for him. May he learn to trust the Father's hand even in correction and testing, knowing that the Lord disciplines and strengthens those He receives as His own, and that this proves His loving care.
May the Lord sustain you as you intercede for your son, and may both of you grow in confidence that your Heavenly Father sees, hears, and is able to provide. We ask the Father to work in this situation for His glory and for your son's good, and above all that your son would walk closely with Jesus, in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and life.
