We join you in prayer for truth and justice in your court process and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We stand with you in asking that truth would prevail and that justice would be done, for we know that Yahweh loves justice and righteousness. The Scripture says Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17 and also When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous. Proverbs 21:15. We pray that every fact in both of your cases would be brought into the light, for the Lord desires truth in the innermost being and He is the One who judges righteously. He is the true Judge of all the earth and we can trust His perfect discernment even when earthly courts are imperfect, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18.
We pray together for your lawyer, that God would grant him wisdom, clarity, sharpness of mind and understanding. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We ask the Lord to give him diligence to listen carefully, to comprehend your situation accurately in both cases, to speak with integrity and to advocate for what is true and right. We also pray that you would have favor before the court and that all involved would act with honesty and fairness, for we are called to speak truth each of you with his neighbor. Zechariah 8:16.
We hear your heart that everything would be according to His will and that He would turn this for your best. We agree and we clarify our prayer is for the will of our Heavenly Father, not merely the will of man, because we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, even trials and legal battles, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:5-6.
We also lift up your prayer for protection, favor and peace for you and your loved ones through all of this. We ask the Lord to be your refuge and shelter, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. We pray He would guard your hearts and minds from fear and anxiety, for we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their loved ones to You. Lord, let Your truth shine in both cases and let Your justice prevail. Grant wisdom and sharpness to the lawyer, give him understanding and the ability to present what is right with clarity. We ask for Your protection over this family, for Your favor in the proceedings, and for Your perfect peace to guard their hearts while they wait on You. We surrender the outcome to Your perfect will, trusting that You will work this for good according to Your purposes. Strengthen faith, remove fear, and let Your name be glorified through this process. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord through this season, to remain truthful in all things, to pray continually and to trust that He is sovereign over every authority and every outcome. Keep seeking Him and His Word daily and rest in His faithful care.
