Scripture reminds us that Christ is like a compassionate physician who does not keep His distance from us in our weakness but draws near to bring healing. He cares for the whole person, body and soul, and every season, even a season of pain, can become an occasion for Him to show His mercy and to draw us closer to Himself. As we continue to seek Him and receive His care, He works patiently in us to restore and strengthen us.
