Prayer request

Your prayer request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before God.

We pray that the Lord will provide for your daily needs and that the help you are waiting for with food assistance will come through according to His mercy. God knows our physical needs and He is the one who sustains us day by day. We also pray for the pains you mentioned that are unknown and for your safety. God sees what is hidden and knows what causes you distress, and we ask Him to bring healing, relief, and protection to you and those with you.

We thank God that you desire to draw closer to Him, to be kind, and to repent. That desire itself is a work of His grace. Scripture teaches that God in His kindness has shown great longsuffering toward us, calling us to repentance and revealing His mercy so that we would turn to Him. True repentance is more than words or tears alone, it is a turning of the heart away from sin and toward Christ, with a sincere desire to walk in His ways. Even when we have fallen, God does not leave us without hope, but calls us to return to Him through Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone. His judgment is righteous, but His mercy is open to all who truly turn to Him and seek forgiveness.

We pray that God will give you a true and lasting repentance, that He will strengthen you to grow in kindness toward others, and that He will draw you closer to Himself through His Word, through prayer, and through faith in Jesus Christ. May He help you to show that kindness daily, as godliness is supported by good works done each day, and may He remove sin and heal your wounds by His grace.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His provision, His healing, and His power to keep you safe and to make you new.

Thank you for sharing your honest heart and asking for prayer. Your desires for provision, for relief from pain, for safety, and most of all to be closer to God and to walk in kindness and repentance are pleasing to Him.

I am praying that God will provide for your daily needs. He knows you have physical needs and He cares about them. Scripture shows that when there was hunger, God honored the meeting of that need above ritual, because His heart is to care for His people. He created you for His pleasure, and He delights to care for you as His child. At times He provides through unexpected means, at times through work and opportunity, but always He invites you to trust Him to supply what you need each day. I am asking Him to make a way for the help you are waiting for and to give you peace as you trust His promises rather than leaning on your own understanding.

I am also praying for the pains you do not understand. God sees what is hidden from others and even from you. He does not change, and His compassion does not fail. He invites you to bring every hurt and fear to Him honestly. Like He did with Cain when He asked questions not because He needed information but to give Cain a chance to be honest and receive mercy, God still draws near to give you space to pour out your heart so He can forgive, heal and restore. Bring those unknown pains to Jesus exactly as they are.

For your safety, I am praying that you will know the safety that comes from trusting and dwelling with Him. The Bible tells of Noah, who was mocked for obeying God and building the ark, yet by faith he and his family were saved because God Himself shut them inside and kept them secure. No circumstance is more secure than being shut in with God. When you put your trust in Him, you dwell safely in His care no matter what is happening around you.

Your longing to get closer to God is the most important request of all. Scripture says without faith it is impossible to please God, but when you trust Him you do please Him. One man in the early pages of Genesis broke the pattern of his generation because he walked with God by faith, day by day, until God took him. That daily walk is what God desires with you. Not a distant religion, but a close walk where you talk with Him, listen to His Word, believe what He has said, and follow Him step by step. He has made that walk possible through one way alone, the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. There is no other provision for forgiveness and for coming near to God. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin to show us our need for Jesus, and when we turn from sin and receive Christ as Savior and Lord, we are accepted.

Repentance is that turning, agreeing with God about sin and turning to Him to receive His forgiveness and new life. God is gracious to give second chances. He said to Cain, if you do well, will you not be accepted. The difference between an offering God accepts and one He does not is faith, trusting God His way. Coming to God through Jesus in faith is the way to be accepted, and it is also the way to grow in kindness. As you walk with Him, He forms His kindness in you, and that kindness flows to others as part of His family where we love one another as brothers and sisters.

So I pray for you now that God will provide for your food and daily needs, touch and heal the pains in your body, keep you safe in His hands, draw you into a closer daily walk with Him through faith in Jesus, and give you a repentant and kind heart that rests in His grace. May you know His presence in a deeper way, especially in this trial, and find that He is faithful to keep every promise He has made.
