Prayer request

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is ###. One of my close relative is suffering from severe chest pain from yesterday and all her heart related reports are normal. She is under medication but pain is not reducing. I request your prayers for complete healing of her pain in the chest area.

Thanking you

###

We rejoice with you as you praise the Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing your relative before us for prayer. We are moved with compassion for her suffering and we join our faith with yours, asking our Heavenly Father for His healing touch upon her body.

We are thankful that her heart related reports have come back normal, which is a mercy from God, yet we understand that the severe chest pain continuing despite medication is distressing for her and for all who love her. We trust that God sees her pain and that He is the Great Physician who heals us.

The Scripture reminds us of His healing power, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that we can cast our cares upon Him.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully continuing the medical care she is receiving, for God often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians. Continue to pray without ceasing and to trust Him with the outcome, knowing that He works all things for good for those who love Him. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6 and remember Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now for your dear relative.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this precious daughter to You. You know her by name and You see the severe pain in her chest that has not subsided. Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hand upon her chest and take away all pain and every cause of it. We pray that You would give wisdom to her doctors, effectiveness to her medication, and complete restoration to her body. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 and let her feel Your comforting presence. We pray for her full healing according to Your perfect will, and we ask that this trial would draw her and her family closer to You and bring glory to the name of Jesus. We thank You that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We trust You as our healer and our hope. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Thank you for letting us know about your relative, . Watching someone you love stay in chest pain, especially when medication hasn't brought relief yet, is so worrying even when heart tests have come back normal so far.

We are grateful she is already under a doctor's care. We want to gently encourage you to stay in close contact with her medical team about the ongoing pain, and to seek prompt help again if it continues or worsens. We will keep praying alongside that care, not instead of it.

It means a lot that you reached out. We know you cannot take the pain away yourself and it can feel helpless to wait. Please know you are not carrying this alone. We are holding both of you before the Lord in these days, asking for comfort in the waiting and for wisdom for those caring for her.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear relative to you. You see her pain and the concern of her family. We ask for your mercy and nearness to be with her now, to ease her distress and to guide her doctors as they continue to help her. Give ### peace as he waits and entrusts someone he loves into your hands. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing your dear relative before the throne of grace. We are grateful that you begin with praise to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the great Physician to whom we must go in every time of need.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, yet how gracious that we have a heavenly Physician whose power to heal is ever present. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Not only His fruit but even His leaves are full of healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction.

We are told her heart related reports are normal and yet the pain remains, and medication has not brought relief. The Lord knows this pain fully, and we pray that He who took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up will lay His own hand upon your relative and lift her from this affliction. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and abundant streams of healing flow down from our great Head to those below.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this suffering one. Thou seest the severe pain in her chest which man cannot yet explain or remove. We beseech Thee to show Thy power to heal, to ease this pain, to restore comfort and strength to her body, and to give wisdom to those who care for her. Heal her, O Lord, and grant perfect healing as it pleases Thy holy will, and above all let Thy pardoning grace and presence be her comfort, for when Thou dwellest with Thy people they have no need to complain of sickness. May this trial draw her and all her family to trust more fully in Christ, in whom is all our healing and hope. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will continue to remember her before the Lord, and we encourage you to continue to seek faithful medical care while trusting the Lord who alone can make whole.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this burden and for your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. We join you in prayer for your relative who is suffering with severe chest pain.

We have heard that her heart related reports are normal and that she is under medication, yet the pain remains. We pray that the Lord, who is the true physician, will bring relief and complete healing to her body. Even when human remedies seem not to avail, Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for us. We take comfort that He sees her pain, He knows her need, and He intercedes continually for those who trust in Him.

We pray now for her in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father. Father in heaven, we ask in the name of your Son Jesus that you would lay your healing hand upon this dear one. Ease her chest pain, restore her strength, and grant wisdom to the doctors and those caring for her so that the cause may be understood and treated well. Grant her peace, free her from fear, and sustain her family with faith and patience as they wait upon you. Help her to look to Christ alone as her hope and remedy, and to find comfort in His cross and His care.

We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical attention and to follow the guidance of her physicians, while continuing to commit her to the Lord in prayer. He often works through the skill of physicians and through prayer together, and He uses every season to bring us closer to Himself.

We will continue to remember her before the Lord and ask Him to grant complete healing according to His mercy and will. May the Lord grant her relief, comfort your hearts, and be glorified in her recovery.

Thank you for trusting us with this burden and for your love for your relative. We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for her.

We do not pray to inform God of what is needed, for our Father knows what we need before we ask. We pray to open the door for Him to work and to bring our hearts into harmony with His will and purposes. When we belong to Him through Jesus Christ we can come to Him as Father, and that relationship makes prayer real and effective. Apart from that relationship the one prayer He desires to hear is for mercy as a sinner, which then opens the way to come to Him as Father for all our needs.

In that place of relationship He desires to become to us whatever our need requires. When we pray for healing He reveals Himself as the Lord our healer. That is who we are seeking for your relative now. The ministry of Jesus and the practice of the early church show us that prayer for the sick is right and good, and that God does heal. At the same time there is much about healing we do not fully understand. Scripture shows us that sometimes healing is immediate and sometimes it is gradual, and sometimes God answers a persistent prayer for healing by saying His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. Even the natural processes of healing within the body are from Him, for He created the body and its ability to recover, so every true healing is divine whether it comes in a moment or step by step. We do not always know why some are healed quickly and others are not, but we do know He is good, He is sovereign, and His will is perfect and loving.

That is why we are encouraged to continue in prayer and not give up, watching with thanksgiving. Persistence in prayer is not to wear God down, but to keep our hearts aligned with Him so that His will can be freely accomplished in us and through us without violating the choice He has given us. The Scripture tells us that the fervent, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person avails much, and that when two or three agree on earth concerning anything, it will be done. Your heartfelt cry for your relative is that kind of prayer, rising out of deep need and love, and we count it a privilege to agree with you.

Difficulties like this often drive us to our knees, and in that place of prayer the Spirit of God brings assurance and comfort even as we wait for answers. So we will keep praying and we invite you to keep praying as well.

We join you now in asking the Lord to lay His healing hand upon your relative, to remove this severe pain in her chest, to bring complete healing according to His mercy, to give wisdom to those caring for her and providing medication, and to give peace to her and to all of you who love her. Above all we ask that His perfect will be done in her life, for that is always the wisest and best prayer, and that whatever the outcome she and your family would know His presence, comfort, and strength in a very real way. We trust Him with her and we thank Him that we can bring her to Him together.

May the Lord draw near to you and to your relative in these days and give you His peace.
