Beloved of All
Your request is precious and it goes to the very heart of what God desires for you. To want Jesus our Lord to be with you always is to want what He Himself has promised and provided.
Scripture assures us that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ, God brings us into a living fellowship with His Son. Jesus is God the Son, God made known in the flesh, the promised Messiah, and all that God has done for us is by Him and through Him. By His offering of Himself once for all, the way into the presence of God was opened. What was once closed is now open, and you can come to the Father through Him at any time. You are not kept at a distance. In Christ you are accepted, you are made righteous, you are sanctified, and you are called into fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus spoke of this fellowship as abiding. He said He is the vine and we are the branches. As you abide in Him and He abides in you, His presence remains with you and His life flows through you. That abiding is not a feeling that comes and goes, but a relationship secured by what He has done. You are in Christ, and because you are in Him you are a child of God by faith, an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. He has made you complete in Him, and in Him you have wisdom and righteousness and redemption. The riches we have in Christ are unsearchable, and His love is beyond full understanding, yet God desires you to know it and to experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking with Him, talking with Him in prayer, and receiving from Him day by day.
So be encouraged that He hears this prayer. He Himself said He would be with His people always, and He is faithful who called you into this fellowship.
I pray for you now that the Lord Jesus Christ will make His presence very real to you each day. May you grow in knowing Him, abiding in Him, and trusting His finished work for you. May He fill you with His peace and joy as you fellowship with Him, and may His life bring forth fruit in you for the Father's glory. May you have a deep assurance that you are His, that you have eternal life in His Son, and that nothing can separate you from His love as you walk with Him. In the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen.
