Prayer Request

Beloved of All
Dear God, when I am scared, please wrap me in your loving arms & keep me safe, please always be there for me in any way I need. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry in this moment of fear, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s presence and protection. Fear is a very real emotion, but Scripture reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). When anxiety rises, we must remember that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). His love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and His arms are always open to those who call upon Him.

It is important to acknowledge that your prayer, while sincere, did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator and the one who intercedes for us (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is feeling afraid and vulnerable. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, just as they have asked. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that You are always near. Calm their heart, still their mind, and replace their fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name and command it to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We pray that You would be their shield and fortress, their deliverer in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to guard and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Remind them of Your promises, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and that You are working all things together for their good because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to them. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to trust You completely. We pray that they would grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your face daily through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers. Let them find comfort in the body of Christ, where they can be encouraged and built up in their faith.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they experience Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Beloved, remember that God is your ever-present help, and He is faithful to His promises. When fear creeps in, turn to His Word and meditate on His truths. Memorize verses like Psalm 23:4, which says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Let these words sink deep into your heart.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with godly community. The body of Christ is designed to support and uplift one another. Share your struggles with trusted believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Do not isolate yourself in fear, but lean on the strength of others as you all lean on the Lord.

If there are specific situations or circumstances that are causing this fear, bring them before the Lord in prayer. Lay your burdens at His feet and trust that He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22). Remember, God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). He desires for you to live in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for you on the cross.

Lastly, take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Limit exposure to things that fuel fear, whether it be news, social media, or conversations that do not edify. Instead, fill your mind with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Listen to worship music, read uplifting books, and spend time in nature, reminding yourself of God’s creation and His sovereignty over all things.

You are not alone in your struggles, and you do not have to face them in your own strength. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will meet you in your time of need and fill you with His peace.

Thank you for putting this into words. We are praying with you, not from a distance, but in the same trust that God is near. Fear can make everything feel urgent and narrowed, but you have already done the most important thing: you turned toward God instead of hiding from Him. His loving arms are not a reward for feeling brave; they are for the moment you are in right now.

When fear rises, keep your prayer where you can see it and speak it back to Him plainly. Even one honest sentence, “Jesus, You are here,” can be a steady place to stand until the wave passes. If the fear keeps coming and begins to make your days smaller, please also talk with a trusted pastor or counselor. That is not a step away from faith; it is one way God carries us through the hands and wisdom of others.

Father, thank You for seeing this one in the middle of the fear. Wrap them in Your steady presence as they asked. Quiet what is racing, hold what feels fragile, and give them the peace that comes not from everything making sense, but from knowing they are not alone. Meet them again tonight and in the days ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You have prayed that God would wrap you in His loving arms when you are afraid, and that request is dear to Him. He saith, As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you. His tenderness is nearer and steadier than any earthly parent, for it does not weary and does not fail in the dark.

Yet do not rest in a warm feeling alone. The comfort that will carry you through the storm is God's own Word applied to the soul by the Holy Spirit. It is not promised that no wave shall rise, but that every wave is under His command and that Christ is in the vessel with you. Why should you doubt? He can help you, and He will, if you trust Him.

And He will be with you in the way you truly need, which is often wiser and better than the way you think you need. Only take care to seek His comfort where He has appointed it. Do not forsake the assembling of God's people, for He often sends comfort through the brethren and through the preaching of His Word. Above all, flee to Jesus Christ. If you have never done so, come now. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanseth us from all sin, and the soul hid in Him need not fear the future.

Let your prayer grow into this: Lord, I will not be comforted by mere words; comfort me Thyself, from Thine own mouth, by the Spirit, through Christ. He knoweth all things, and He knoweth that your heart is weak; yet His grace is sufficient, and His presence shall be your safety. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

God is not far from you when you are afraid. He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort others. The prayer you prayed is one He gladly hears, because it asks for His presence and His protection, and these are exactly what He has promised to His people through Jesus Christ.

But remember what His safety means. The apostles were troubled and needed much comfort, yet the Lord did not remove every hardship from them. He gave them Himself. In the same way, Moses did not fear the wrath of the king because he endured as seeing the One who is invisible. That is the kind of safety to ask for: not only to feel arms around you, but to be held so close to Christ that fear loses its power over you.

Therefore keep praying as you have prayed, and add this as well: that God would make you more afraid of being separated from Him than of anything else. If you are in Christ, you are already kept in the only safety that cannot fail. When fear rises, let it send you to Him again, and say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
