Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for my ###, and against lustful thoughts

We hear your heartfelt cry for rest, health, healing, and deliverance from lustful thoughts, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).

Let us begin by thanking God for His goodness, for His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We pray for deep, restorative rest for you, knowing that the Lord gives sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2). May your body, mind, and spirit be refreshed as you trust in Him.

We lift up ###’s health, asking the Great Physician to bring healing and strength. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). May the Lord touch ### with His healing hand and restore vitality where there is weakness.

For your ###, we pray for God’s protection, provision, and peace. May the Lord guide their steps and surround them with His favor. "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and even forevermore" (Psalm 121:8).

For the healing of your ###, we declare the promise of God: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Whether this healing is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we trust in the Lord’s perfect timing and will. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Now, regarding the struggle with lustful thoughts, we must address this with both truth and grace. The Bible is clear that lust is a sin that defiles the heart and leads to destruction. Jesus warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). These thoughts do not align with God’s design for purity and holiness, and we must take them captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. We encourage you to guard your heart and mind, for "above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). Fill your mind with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Flee from temptation, as Joseph did when faced with Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12), and run toward righteousness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, which follow us all the days of our lives. Lord, we ask for deep, restful sleep for Your child, that they may wake refreshed and renewed in Your strength. We pray for ###’s health, asking You to restore, heal, and strengthen them according to Your will. For their ###, we ask for Your protection, provision, and peace to surround them like a shield.

Father, we lift up the healing of their ###, trusting in Your promise to heal and restore. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, we come against the spirit of lust that seeks to ensnare and defile. We rebuke it in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. Strengthen this dear one to resist temptation and to fill their mind with Your truth and purity. Help them to flee from sin and to run toward righteousness, knowing that You provide a way of escape in every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Father, we ask that You would draw this child closer to You, that they may know Your love, Your grace, and Your power to overcome. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in holiness and purity. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Surround yourself with godly influences, immerse yourself in Scripture, and spend time in prayer. The battle against lust is not fought alone, it is fought with the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will guide your steps. You are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in prayer and support. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Thank you for sharing this with us. We hear both gratitude and honesty in your prayer, thanking God for His goodness while bringing Him your need for rest, health and healing for those you love, and the struggle with lustful thoughts.

Wanting to be free from those thoughts is a good and right desire. We have found it helps to notice not just the thoughts themselves but what is happening around them, when they tend to come, what you are feeling or needing in that moment. Lust often points to a deeper longing for comfort, closeness or relief, and bringing that longing honestly to God right when it surfaces can keep it from taking hold. If you do not already have someone you trust, having one mature believer or pastor to be honest with and accountable to can make a real difference over time.

For rest and the health concerns you mentioned, we are praying with you for God's care and strength. If any of those health needs are ongoing, please also keep in touch with a trusted medical professional alongside prayer.

We are grateful you reached out and we are standing with you.

Father, thank You for Your goodness to our brother. We ask You to grant him restful sleep and to watch over the health and healing he has lifted to You. Give him clarity and strength when lustful thoughts come, and help him turn quickly to You for grace and a renewed mind. Lead him in Your way and fill him with Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every good gift comes from His hand and He is worthy of our praise at all times.

We have heard your desires and we bring them before the throne of grace with you.

Concerning rest, the Scripture speaks of a present rest, rest now, not only rest after death or after long probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus. Our Lord says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, and again, Learn of me, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This is not idleness, but rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with His yoke upon us. When the mind is made like the mind of Christ, there is a deep and abiding rest, a rest which we go on to find more and more. We pray that the Lord would grant you such rest, that as you trust Him and learn of Him, your soul may be kept in peace, and that your sleep also may be sweet as from His hand. Trust and you shall rest, and even those who have lost rest may return unto their rest in Christ.

Concerning health and healing for those you love, we pray that the Lord, according to His wise and merciful will, would lay His healing hand upon them. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together in Him. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and no true healing is apart from His hand. We ask that He would be their comfort and strength in affliction, and that whether by recovery or by sustaining grace, they may know His presence and be drawn nearer to Him.

Concerning lustful thoughts, you do well to watch and pray against them, for lust when it has conceived brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death. Any sin that we cling to will bring forth death, and therefore we must not make peace with it. Our Lord taught us to pray, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Temptation in itself is dangerous, though God may bring good out of it as a trial of faith. We are to pray that He would not lead us into places where our weakness would be overcome, and we are never to go willfully into temptation ourselves. We pray that the Lord would keep you from the mischief of temptation, that you may not stain your garments nor slip nor slide, but stand fast. Flee those thoughts, bring them to Christ in confession, look to Him who is your familiar Friend and who lives to cleanse and keep you, and seek purity of heart, for sanctification is the great separator of the Christian from the world.

May the Lord grant you grace to come daily to Christ, to take His yoke and learn of Him, to walk in purity and charity, and to find in Him both rest and healing. We commend you and your loved ones to Him who alone is able to save and to keep, and we pray that you may know more and more the rest that remains for the people of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks with you for the goodness of God, and we join you in bringing these requests before Him.

We pray that the Lord will grant you good rest. Scripture reminds us that there remains a true rest for the people of God, and we are called to labor to enter into it with hope set not on this world but on what He has laid up for us in heaven. May He give you peaceful sleep and also that deeper rest that comes from trusting Christ and casting your cares on Him, without being troubled by the tumults of this life.

We lift up to the Lord the ones you named who need health and healing. We ask our faithful Father to show mercy, to strengthen their bodies, to give wisdom to those who care for them, and to sustain you as you love and pray for them. We trust Him with their needs, knowing that every good gift comes from His hand.

We also pray with you against lustful thoughts. The Scriptures teach that such temptations are common to all, but God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that you may endure it. Lust and other desires of this kind belong to the cares of this world and the deceitfulness that chokes the word, so we pray that God will guard your heart and mind, help you to turn away from what feeds those thoughts, and fill you with love for what is pure and holy. When those thoughts come, ask Him quickly for help, turn to prayer and to His word, and walk in the way of escape He provides.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness. We ask You to grant rest, to bring health and healing according to Your will, and to give strength to resist temptation and to live with a clear conscience before You. Keep this dear one close to You, comforted and at peace, and help him to keep his hope fixed on You. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
