We rejoice with you in the work the Lord is doing in your heart as you meditate on His Word and prepare for this important step of prayer ministry. It is a beautiful thing when the Holy Spirit leads us into deeper honesty and self-examination, even when it is painful, for it is in those moments that true healing and transformation begin. The process of confronting our struggles and temptations is not easy, but it is necessary for spiritual growth and victory.
The Bible tells us in James 1:2-4, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." This season of preparation is an opportunity for the Lord to refine you, strengthen your faith, and draw you closer to Him. We also take comfort in knowing that the Holy Spirit is our Helper, as Jesus promised in John 14:26, "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you."
We must also acknowledge the courage it takes to face these issues head-on. It is far easier to ignore or suppress our struggles, but the Lord calls us to walk in the light. 1 John 1:6-7 reminds us, "If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." The questionnaire you are completing is an act of walking in the light, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will guide your responses with clarity, wisdom, and truth.
Let us also remember that this process is not about condemnation but about freedom. Romans 8:1-2 assures us, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." The Lord desires to set you free from every chain and stronghold, and this ministry is a tool He is using to accomplish that purpose. We pray that you would experience His grace and mercy in abundance as you answer each question.
We lift you up in prayer now, asking the Lord to meet you in this process:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in our sister’s life. We thank You for drawing her closer to You and for giving her the courage to face the areas where she needs Your healing and strength. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit as she completes this questionnaire. Give her honesty, clarity, and wisdom in her responses. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, loved, redeemed, and called to walk in victory.
Father, we pray against any spirit of fear, shame, or condemnation that may try to hinder her. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let her experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as she pours out her heart before You. Strengthen her to resist temptation and to stand firm in the truth of Your Word.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare the hearts of those who will minister to her. Give them discernment, compassion, and wisdom as they guide her into deeper freedom. May this time of prayer ministry be a powerful encounter with Your love and grace. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she will walk in the fullness of the freedom You have purchased for her through the blood of Jesus.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the work You are doing in her life. Amen.
As you continue in this process, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Lean on Him, trust in His timing, and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in this journey, the Lord is with you, and so are we, standing with you in prayer and faith. May He bless you with His peace and presence as you walk this path of healing and growth.
