Prayer request

Hiaren

Servant of All
Please pray for me, whenever I was given time to preach God's word in the church, always frightening, fear comes in my heart, mind. So I need God bless and healing to free from this frightening and fear .Amen

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer and encouragement. It is a sacred honor to proclaim God’s Word, yet we understand how the weight of that responsibility can bring fear and trembling. But remember, the Lord does not call the equipped, He equips the called. Your desire to preach His truth is evidence of His work in you, and He will not abandon you in this calling.

The fear you feel is not from God, for Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). This fear may be a tactic of the enemy to silence the message God has placed in you. We rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ! The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is with you. He will strengthen your voice and steady your heart as you step out in obedience.

Let us also remind you of Moses, who felt unworthy and afraid to speak before Pharaoh and the Israelites. Yet God said to him, "Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak" (Exodus 4:12 WEB). If God could use a man who stammered to deliver His people, He can surely use you to deliver His Word with boldness. Similarly, Jeremiah felt too young and inadequate, but God assured him, "Don’t say, ‘I am a child;’ for you must go to whomever I send you, and you must say whatever I command you. Don’t be afraid because of them, for I am with you to rescue you" (Jeremiah 1:7-8 WEB).

We encourage you to meditate on these truths and to prepare your heart through prayer and study before you preach. The more you immerse yourself in God’s Word, the more His truth will fill you and overflow naturally. Also, seek the support of your church family, ask them to pray for you and to speak life into your calling. You are not alone in this.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister who has been called to preach Your Word. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of fear that have gripped their heart. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who brings power, love, and a sound mind. Remind them that You are their strength and their shield, and that You go before them in every moment.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear and intimidation that seeks to silence Your message. We declare that this servant of Yours will not be held back by fear but will rise up in the confidence of Your calling. Give them boldness to proclaim Your truth without hesitation, knowing that it is Your Word, not their own, that they carry. Teach them what to say, just as You did for Moses and Jeremiah, and let Your words flow through them like a river of life.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch over their heart and mind. Calm their anxieties and replace their fear with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them. Surround them with godly mentors and fellow believers who will encourage and uplift them in this calling.

We thank You, Father, for the privilege of being used by You. May this servant of Yours grow in confidence and faith as they step out in obedience. Let Your name be glorified through their preaching, and may lives be transformed by the power of Your Word. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember, dear one, that God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do not despise the small beginnings or the trembling in your voice. Even the most seasoned preachers once stood where you are now. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and step forward in obedience. The same God who called you will sustain you.

We know how it feels when your heart races the moment you’re called to speak, how the fear can make you want to shrink back even when you know God has given you something to share. You’re not alone in this. Many of us who have stood to preach know that sudden dread, and we’ve seen God meet us in it again and again.

The courage to open your mouth doesn’t usually show up as one dramatic rush of confidence. It grows quietly, like a muscle, as we take small obedient steps. If the pulpit feels overwhelming right now, maybe there’s a smaller, safer place to exercise that gift: share a brief testimony in a small group, lead a short devotion with family, or practice preaching to one trusted friend. Each time we speak in those less intimidating settings, we’re learning to trust the Lord’s help in our weakness, and that builds a steadiness that carries over.

Also, it helps to shift your focus from how you’re performing to how God might love the people through your words. Before you preach, remind yourself: these are sheep who need a shepherd’s care, not an audience to impress. Your fear often eases when you stop carrying the weight of being perfect and simply offer what you’ve been given.

Let’s pray. Father, thank you that you see this brother and his desire to serve you with his voice. Calm the fear that grips his heart and mind when he steps forward to speak. Let your perfect love cast out that terror, and fill him with a quiet confidence that comes from you, not from himself. Give him opportunities to grow in courage, one faithful word at a time. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Luke 1:75-78 for you in Jesus' Name

The trembling that seizes you before you open your mouth for Christ is no strange thing, but a token that you feel the weight of the task. Yet this fear, if unchecked, becomes a snare and a dishonor to the God who sent you. Come boldly to the throne of grace, for it is exactly that, a throne of grace, where mercy and help are poured out in time of need. The very least thing about Jesus is full of healing virtue; even the whisper of His name is a leaf from the tree of life to drive out the palsy of fear.

Remember this: “Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord.” You are weak, yes, but your Helper is the Mighty God. To dread the faces of men is to doubt the arm that upholds heaven and earth. It is not the preacher’s eloquence that heals, but the presence of the teaching Christ. When He speaks, sin’s dominion and its terrors fall together. So then, do not look at your own shaking hands, but open your mouth with the expectation that the Sun of Righteousness will rise upon your hearers with healing in His wings.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and a holy awe is fitting; but the fear that paralyzes must be washed away by perfect love. Go again to Calvary, where pardon and healing were joined for you, and preach as a forgiven man. When you are most weak, then He is most present. Lay hold of this promise: “I will help thee.” Why then should you fear? Let it be so, and may God grant you liberty, for the healing leaves are for the nations, and your own soul as well.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
