Prayer request

Beloved of All
Please pray for me and my siblings my dad still with us he never changes but they're arguing and it's not fair

We hear your heart and the heaviness you carry as you watch your family struggle. It is painful to see loved ones locked in conflict, especially when it feels like no resolution is in sight. We stand with you in this burden, lifting your father and siblings before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in ways only He can.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our access to God comes only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find true peace. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider this truth. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step toward healing, not just for you, but for your family.

Now, we turn to the Lord with your request. Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your mercy and grace to surround this family. Your Word tells us, "A brother offended is more difficult than a fortified city; and contentions are like the bars of a fortress" (Proverbs 18:19). Lord, we ask You to break down these walls of strife and replace them with Your peace. Soften hearts that have grown hard, and help each one to see the other through Your eyes.

We rebuke the spirit of division and discord that has taken root in this home. Your Word warns us, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there" (James 3:16). We command this confusion to cease in the name of Jesus. We declare that love, patience, and understanding will replace anger and bitterness. Father, give this family the strength to forgive one another, just as You have forgiven us.

We pray specifically for the father in this home. Lord, You know his heart and the struggles he faces. We ask that You draw near to him, revealing Yourself in ways he cannot ignore. Soften his heart to receive Your truth and to lead his family with wisdom and humility. Your Word says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Lord, we ask that You restore this father to the role You have called him to, guiding his children with love and discipline.

For the siblings, Father, we ask that You heal the wounds that have been inflicted by these arguments. Help them to see the value in one another and to prioritize their relationship over their disagreements. Remind them that "a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17). Let them lean on one another instead of turning against each other.

We also pray for the one who has submitted this request. Lord, give them strength and wisdom as they navigate this difficult situation. Help them to be a peacemaker in their family, reflecting Your love and grace. Remind them that "blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).

Father, we know that change is possible because with You, all things are possible. We trust that You are working even when we cannot see it. We ask that You bring unity, healing, and restoration to this family. May they experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and may their home be a place where Your presence dwells.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weariness in your words, the ache of the same tension day after day, watching people you love argue while the one who could bring calm seems unable or unwilling to change. That kind of unfairness settles deep, and it makes perfect sense that you’d reach out for prayer. You are not alone in this, and we’re holding you and your siblings up right now.

It’s common in families like yours for stress to bounce between everyone. Sometimes siblings start fighting because they’re both reacting to the heavier weight of a parent’s unresolved struggles. Please know: you didn’t cause it, and you aren’t expected to fix it by yourself. One of the healthiest things you can do is find a trusted adult outside the home, maybe a youth pastor, a school counselor, or a family friend, who can listen and help you sort through the pressure. You don’t have to reveal every detail, just enough to let someone bear it with you. If the arguments ever feel scary or unsafe, that adult can also help you figure out the next right step for your own well-being.

When the house gets loud, carve out small moments of peace where you can. Walk outside, call a supportive friend, or scribble your honest prayers in a notebook. And as much as it’s possible, try to be gentle with your siblings, remind them (and yourself) that you’re on the same side, even when emotions run high.

Lord Jesus, you see this family, the dad who won’t change, the siblings who are exhausted from the fighting, and the one who wrote to us feeling it’s all so unfair. Wrap your arms around these children. Give them steady hearts and a safe place to land. Quiet the arguing, and in your time, soften their father’s heart toward real change. Protect their bonds as siblings and give them just enough hope for today. Amen.

The turmoil you describe is that very conflict which marks the child of God. "From that moment his conflict begins," and it is no strange thing that the household peace is broken, for the two principles within the children of God, the old nature and the new, must continue in conflict till our dying day. Yet do not be overwhelmed by the strife you see, for there is a Father who holds you in the midst of it.

The only Begotten Son has revealed the Father's heart; He said, "The Father Himself loves you." If an earthly father seems locked in ways that wound, remember this, the Lord God has this for a special mark of His character, that in Him the fatherless finds mercy. A Father of the fatherless is God in His holy habitation. Let the orphan cry of your spirit arise and go to your Father, to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation.

Be not slow to plead the promise. Lay this burden at the foot of the Cross, for there is no sympathy equal to that of the heavenly Father and no power to help equal to His. Look up and say, "My Father, restore unto me the joy of thy salvation." You shall find Him a better Father than the best of fathers could ever be to the best beloved of sons.

And let this comfort you, if the fury turns against you for seeking peace, know that He has said, "He that touches you, touches the apple of My eye." He will not suffer His own children to perish for lack, nor be utterly cast down. "I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." In the spirit of sonship, reverence Him who is the Father of your spirits, and wait patiently for His salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Father of mercies and God of all comfort knows the affliction of your household. When the arrows of strife fly, and a father's unchanging ways wound his children, it is no small trial. But know this: the comfort wherewith God comforts us in such afflictions is not a shallow thing. He does not merely still the storm without; He first brings peace within your own soul, so that you may stand unmoved when the winds rage.

Do not mistake all concord for virtue. There is an evil peace, the agreement of those who conspire in wrong, and a good discord that severs what is diseased. When arguments arise because a father cleaves to what destroys unity, the pain you feel is the groaning of a true peace trying to be born. The peace Christ gives is not the absence of conflict at any cost, but the wholeness that comes when hearts are welded together in Him. That your spirit cries out "this is not fair" shows you hunger for the peace which is a fruit of righteousness, not a truce with sin.

For yourselves and your siblings, then, pray not merely that the arguing cease, but that the God of all comfort would so fill you with His own unshakable peace that the strife cannot poison your souls with bitterness or hatred. The war Christ ended was of every kind and long season, yet He made peace through the blood of His cross. Cling to that peace which reconciles us to the Father, and let it guard your hearts. Become, by your own calm and righteous conduct, a living reproof to the discord, so that men may know whose disciples you are.

The weight of constant arguing in a home can feel like a small crack in a dam that, left unchecked, threatens to flood everything. A dry crust with quiet is truly better than a house full of feasting and strife. When your dad seems unable or unwilling to change, and the bickering among your siblings feels so unfair, it tears at your heart in a deep way. I am lifting you and your siblings up in prayer even now.

Remember that you have direct access to the Father in heaven through Jesus Christ. He Himself said that because we have loved His Son and believed in Him, the Father Himself loves us, and we can come boldly to Him with such burdens. You do not need a priest or another mediator; you can cry out to Him right now in the name of Jesus. Pour out the hurtful unfairness you are feeling, and ask the Father to do what no human effort can.

The Scriptures are honest about families torn by rivalry and sorrow. Think of Jacob’s sons, whose jealousy toward Joseph shattered their peace for years. Think of the prodigal son, whose family endured his rebellion and his brother’s resentment. Yet in that parable, the father never stopped watching, ready to run with compassion when his child turned toward home. Our heavenly Father sees the whole tangled mess of sinful hearts and broken relationships, and He is able to bring change that surprises us.

In the meantime, your safety is not found in your dad finally getting things right or your siblings stopping their arguments, but in your own relationship with Jesus. He told His followers that to follow Him means loving Him above even the closest family ties, not because those ties don’t matter, but because He is the unshakable anchor when earthly relationships are rocking. If you have seen Jesus by faith, you have seen the Father. He understands what you feel.

So pray for peace, and as far as it depends on you, refuse to let even a small channel of contention open wider through your own words. Do not feed the strife, but be a servant of quiet wisdom. Ask the Father to keep you and your siblings in His name, just as Jesus prayed for His own disciples. He is well able to guard what you commit to Him. Entrust your dad and your brothers and sisters into the hands of the One who judges justly and who alone can draw a heart to change. You are not alone in this; the living Father sees, and He hears you.
