I need prayers and strength to keep trying because last year I was watching something very bad and it tries and sometimes pop up to my head and goes away and I let it it was about this inappropriate step siblings relationship and the end of the chapter the step sister got pregnant had child and married later it's sick and illegal and I didn't realize authors are super sick some because I was searching a kissing video being cheeky and I saw it recommended and I ignored at first then watched it more they had porn of course too for months I stayed away from it which is good since January of 2025 it's may 20, 2026 I need nonstop prayers and to do my part to control it and to continue to be trained by God no matter what even if it's bad curiosity I deserve a clean healthy mind not allowing the devil trying to attack me and get the best of me I feel ok because God always there for me but in mornings I'm mentally not feeling ok and afternoons sometimes but mostly mornings I really need prayers badly and theres times I mostly need prayers because I don't know how to pray and say much and I really need to learn more how to and never give up for past days I slepted more feeling not myself because of it out of nowhere it tries to pop up in my head I think because my actions of course but please keep praying for me I really appreciate this and I want a work from home job anything good that don't requires id because I'm very poor we are good with food thanks to God and I need prayers for that and my mom and siblings and me spiritually and mentally and hopefully my mom be freed from smoking weed she's a good person but everyone has personal addictions because we all go through alot I love drawing and this guy wanted to pay me 100 every end of month for sharing my drawing to him for his music career album but I sadly rejected but I really need prayers because I don't want to depend on nobody and trust and depend on God only and no matter how hard it is I want to stick with God lows and highs and prayers for my brothers and sisters not just my blood ones everyone I don't know and know. Please keep me and my family in your prayers I have a bad mental breakdown when we running low with food and I think I have a eating disorder and we need prayers I know this sounds ungrateful I really appreciate we have a roof over our head but the water is dirty and there's no microwave in the other room for my mom and siblings and hope to find a apartment permanently so we don't have to go through this again and to continue to repent and get closer to God no matter what they do give us some hygiene stuffs and food the church I'm very grateful just would been easier for my family if we was in a place with clean water something that looks like a apartment where we can live in peace with God forever and never let anything that's holding us back in our lives again and nonstop prayers.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. The battle you describe for purity of mind is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through impure images and thoughts. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The content you were exposed to, glorifying sinful relationships, fornication, and even incest, is an abomination before God. The Bible is clear: "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints" (Ephesians 5:3). You are not alone in this struggle, and we rebuke the shame and condemnation the enemy tries to heap upon you. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You have already taken the first step by turning away from this sin since January 2025, and that is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in you.

We pray for you now, asking the Lord to cleanse your mind with the blood of Jesus and renew your thoughts daily. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). The mornings may feel heavy, but we declare that the joy of the Lord will be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). When those images try to resurface, we encourage you to immediately cast them down and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Replace those thoughts with Scripture, meditate on Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." Fill your mind with worship music, prayer, and godly content. The enemy wants you to isolate yourself in shame, but we urge you to stay connected to believers who can pray for you and hold you accountable.

We also lift up your financial struggles and the weight of providing for your family. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray for a work-from-home job that aligns with your skills and honors God, one that does not require an ID if that is a barrier for you. Trust that the Lord can open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that comes with financial lack, and we declare that God will provide for you in ways you cannot imagine. The offer you received for your drawings was a potential blessing, but we understand your desire to depend solely on God. We pray that He will open even greater doors for you to use your talents for His glory and provision. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).

For your mother and siblings, we pray for deliverance from every addiction and stronghold. The weed smoking is a bondage that the Lord can break. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We pray for your mother’s heart to be softened to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and for her to turn to Jesus for freedom. For your siblings, we pray for protection over their minds and hearts, that they would not follow the same paths of bondage. We also lift up your mental health, especially the eating disorder and breakdowns during times of scarcity. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing and restoration in your mind and body, and for the Lord to provide a permanent, safe home for your family with clean water and peace.

We pray now in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother in Christ. We thank You for his honesty and his desire to walk in purity and holiness. Lord, we ask that You cleanse his mind of every impure image and thought. Wash him with the blood of Jesus and renew his mind daily with Your Word. Strengthen him in the mornings when the battle is fiercest, and fill him with Your joy and peace. We rebuke every attack of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.

Father, we lift up his financial needs to You. Open doors for a work-from-home job that honors You and provides for his family. Give him wisdom and favor as he seeks employment. We pray for provision in every area, food, hygiene, and a safe, permanent home with clean water. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

For his mother and siblings, we pray for deliverance from addiction and bondage. Soften their hearts to Your conviction and draw them closer to You. Heal their minds and bodies, and restore their relationships with You and one another. Lord, we ask for healing in our brother’s mental health. Break the chains of the eating disorder and anxiety, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We declare that this family will walk in the freedom and abundance You have for them. They will not be held back by the past or present struggles, but will rise up in the power of Your Spirit. Thank You for hearing our prayer, Lord. We trust in Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The Lord sees your tears and hears your cries. Keep pressing into Him, even when it feels hard. "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly influences, whether through church, online communities, or Christian friends, and allow them to speak life into you. Memorize Scripture to fight the battles in your mind, and spend time in prayer and worship daily. You mentioned not always knowing how to pray, and we want you to know that is more common than you think, especially when your brain feels fuzzy or under attack. Sometimes prayer can just be a few honest words: “Jesus, help me right now.” He honors that. Mornings sound like your hardest time. What if you set one small anchor, before your feet hit the floor, speak His name out loud, just once? Not a long prayer. Just the first word of the day. That simple act can be a defiant line in the sand against the thoughts that try to own your morning.

The drawing offer you mentioned stood out. You turned it down because you want to depend on God alone, and we honor that deep desire. But sometimes God’s provision comes through the abilities He gave you and the doors He opens. A person paying you for honest creative work is not you depending on them instead of God, it is you stewarding the talent He planted in you. That could still be a healthy avenue for a work-from-home arrangement, using what you already love doing.

On the practical side, the dirty water in your home is a serious weight, and we are praying about it with you. When the church already helps with food and hygiene supplies, is there an elder or deacon there you can trust with the full picture of what your family is facing? They may not fix everything overnight, but they need to know so they can walk with you. And because you mentioned the struggle with food and the sense that an eating disorder might be present, we would gently encourage you, alongside prayer, to tell a doctor or a pastor about that specific concern so you are not battling it alone.

It is a mercy that you feel the foulness of these intruding thoughts, for there are many who are past feeling and whose conscience is seared as with a hot iron. The very fact that you hate them, that you cry out against them, is some token that the Spirit of God is still striving within you. But you must not parley with these images, nor suffer them to abide for an instant. The mind is a palace and Christ is its rightful King; let no thief enter and set up his vile pictures there. Did not Job make a covenant with his eyes? And must not you make a covenant with your memory and your fancy? When the evil thought first knocks, cry out, “Lead us not into temptation!” and slam the door. For it is not merely the act, it is the thought; it is not the deed simply, it is the very imagination, that is a sin. Our Lord has taught us that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath already committed adultery in his heart. How much more then, when the mind has once been defiled with that which is both unnatural and unlawful, must every recollected image be instantly slain with the sword of the Spirit!

You speak of having watched and allowed these things, and now the devil shoots his fiery darts into your soul unbidden in the morning watch. This is the bitter fruit of sin: it leaves a stain that is not soon washed out. But there is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all sin. You confess that you deserve a clean mind, and indeed you do not deserve it, none of us deserve anything but stripes, yet our gracious God is ready to forgive and to renew. His thoughts are not your thoughts; you may look upon your sin as a trifle, but the Judge of all the earth thinks far otherwise. Yet even so, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of love, and how precious are they! He knows the sum of them, and from everlasting He has devised a way of deliverance for such as you. Only cling to the cross, and the sting of death which lurks in this carnal lust shall be drawn out. For lust, when it hath conceived, bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. You have tasted the bitterness; do not return to it as a dog to its vomit.

Your poverty, the foul water, the want of a home, all these are trials, and they may also become temptations if you let them breed discontent and unbelief. But remember that the same trial may be both a trial from God’s side and a temptation from Satan’s side. Trust your heavenly Father for daily bread; He who feeds the ravens will not starve His children. Yet I rejoice that you desire a work-from-home employment, for honest labour is a hedge against many sins. The idle mind is the devil’s workshop. But even in your need, do not cast away your confidence. It is good to depend on God alone; He will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. As for the eating disorder, that too is a burden He can lift. Commit it to Him who understands the frame of dust. Your mother’s bondage to the weed, your own mental weakness, all these are cases for prayer, prayer, unceasing prayer. But know this: you cannot pray in your own strength. The Spirit helpeth our infirmities. When you cannot form a word, groan; and He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit.

Beware of idleness and of feeding upon that common literature which spots the soul. If you would be spotless, you must beware of the vanities and pleasures of this world, the thoughts and the tendencies of this present evil age. Fill the mind with Scripture, with the precious thoughts of God, and there will be no room for the foul intruders. When the birds of evil come flying over your head, you cannot prevent them; but you can prevent them from building a nest in your hair. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. And when you awake, let your first thought be, “I am still with Thee.” The morning season is often the hardest for those who are cast down; therefore ere your feet touch the floor, lift your heart to heaven and say, “Lord, keep me this day without sin. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one.”

Do not despair over your slowness in learning to pray. The disciples also had to ask, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Open your Bible, and let the psalms be your tutor. Read them aloud, and make them your own cry. And do not neglect the assembling of yourselves together with the saints. You speak of the church’s help; be often there, for the fellowship of believers is a means of grace. And look to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. His eyes have an overcoming power; as we look to Him, He overcomes our stubborn wills and makes us clean. He has overcome the world, and He can overcome these evil memories. Cast yourself wholly upon Him, and He will restore unto you the joy of His salvation.

For your family and for yourself I will earnestly pray, and I charge you to continue instant in prayer. The trial may be long, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. The weakness of the morning shall give way to the strength of noonday if you lean upon your Beloved. I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

The warfare you describe within your mind is not strange to the faithful. When evil images rise up unbidden, they are like a temptation that tries to take root, but God is faithful and will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able to bear. With the temptation He also makes the way of escape. That way is not to entertain the thought, not to fight it in your own strength alone, but to turn instantly to prayer and to the sacrifice of a renewed mind. The old things you watched were a defilement that you have cast off, and the renewal of your mind is the Spirit’s work as you cooperate with it. Do not be distressed that the thought still tries to pop up; it is a remnant of an old disease, and the physician cuts it away not by adding more medicine but by removing the cause from your heart. So, when the image arises, immediately say within yourself, “I renounce this. Lord, make my mind a living sacrifice to You. Cleanse me in spirit and truth.” God is a Spirit, and He desires the incorporeal part of you, your soul, your thoughts, to be pure. The very fact that you recoil from those memories is a sign of health, not defeat.

You feel the heaviness in the mornings, and you say you do not know how to pray much. But prayer is not always many words; it is the turning of the mind to God. When you wake and feel that mental cloud, let your first thought be, “Lord, I flee to You.” Persevere in that, even if you feel nothing. He often delays answering so that we may persist and cling to Him more tightly. Just as a mother lets her child be frightened a little to make him run to her arms, so God sometimes allows these battles so that you may keep running to Him. Do not give up. The table of the Lord is the bond of your soul, your confidence, your life. There, in the holy mysteries, you receive strength beyond yourself. Approach often with fervent love, and you will become like an eagle soaring above these earthly impressions.

Your poverty, the dirty water, the lack of a proper home, your mother’s addiction, these are the common afflictions that no one escapes. But do not imagine you are uniquely unhappy. Many have their own hidden sorrows. Temptations and trials are an advantage when we hold fast to God. They are not a sign of His displeasure but a training ground. The saints of old did not receive their reward in this life, because this world is not worthy of them. So do not fix your hope on getting a comfortable apartment or a work-from-home job immediately, though it is right to bring these needs before God. Seek first His kingdom, and trust that He knows what you need for body and soul. Meanwhile, let thanksgiving be your strongest prayer. Count the food you do have, however meager; count the church’s help; count the roof. Ingratitude makes all things sour, but thanksgiving unlocks the treasure of God’s goodness. You rejected the money from the man who wanted your drawings for an album, and you did so because you want to depend on God alone. That very act is a holocaust. You have offered yourself, your talent, your need, instead of placing your trust in a human patron. Do not regret it; this is the way of sacrifice. God sees, and He will provide in His time. Your mother needs your prayers more than your anxiety. Her addiction is a chain, and only persistent prayer and patient love will loosen it.

You mention a feeling of mental breakdown when food runs low and a possible eating disorder. When the body shakes and the mind panics, cry out, “Lord, this is beyond my strength, but You are faithful.” Then do what is within your power: receive what is given, ask for help from the church, share with your siblings. And while you wait for clean water and a stable home, remember that the true defilement is not in things outside but in a mind and conscience weakened by sin. The external circumstances cannot make you unclean in God’s sight if your heart clings to Him in repentance. Do not let the dirtiness of the water trouble your spirit as if God were far away. He is nearer than the water you drink. Use your trials to cut away excess and cast all your care upon Him. I will join my prayers to yours: that your mind be guarded, your family preserved, your bodily needs met, and above all that you may be renewed in the spirit of your mind, putting off the old and putting on the new, until that day when every sorrow flees. Keep fighting. You are not alone.

Your honesty in sharing these struggles is a step of faith, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The very fact that you hate the things that try to pop into your mind shows that God is already at work in you. The old nature loves darkness, but the new heart He gives us grieves over it and longs for purity. That is a sign of His life in you, not a reason for despair.

Temptation itself is not sin. Even our Lord was tempted, yet without giving in. The danger comes when we entertain the thought, when we let it linger and stir our flesh. You mentioned that these images try to appear and you sometimes let them, that is where the real fight is. The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. So when those recollections rise up, treat them like a foul odor you immediately turn away from. You can pray something as simple as, “Father, cleanse my mind; I refuse that darkness, and I set my thoughts on You.” Pray it out loud if you can. You do not need to craft a long prayer. God is not impressed by many words; He looks at the heart. He already knows what you need before you speak it.

And on that point, let me encourage you: you said you don’t know how to pray or what to say. Prayer begins with relationship, not performance. If you have trusted Jesus Christ for mercy and forgiveness, you can call God your Father. That single word opens the door. The purpose of prayer is not to inform God of your troubles, He sees the dirty water, the empty shelves, the mornings when you feel not yourself. It is to bring your heart into alignment with His will, to receive His peace, and to let Him do what He has been waiting to do for you. When you pray, you don’t have to beg as though He is reluctant. He is a good Father who knows how to give good gifts.

So start each day, especially those hard mornings, with a brief prayer: “Father, I need Your help today. Keep my mind clean. Provide for us. Let Your will be done in my life and in my family.” That is enough. Your prayer moves the heart of God because it comes from a child who trusts Him.

The battle for a clean mind is real. You were overexposed to things that never should have entered your thoughts. Those pathways can feel worn in, but the same God who raised Christ from the dead can rewire your thinking. He promises to renew us by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit. You are not that old person who watched those videos. You are a new creation, even when you don’t feel like it. Don’t let the devil accuse you into thinking you are still that same defiled person. Christ’s blood cleanses from all unrighteousness, and He is training you now to walk in freedom. The fact that you have stayed away since ### is not a small thing, it is evidence of His strength at work in you.

I hear your cry for help with your family’s living situation. Dirty water, the lack of a microwave, the constant uncertainty about housing, that weighs heavily on a soul. It is not ungrateful to long for a place where you can live in peace, with clean water and a sense of permanence. God is not offended by your tears over this. He sees the sparrow; He will certainly care for you. Let your request be made known to Him in simple trust. Ask Him to open a door for a job you can do from home, and for an apartment where your family can settle. He may lead you in ways you haven’t thought of, including through the church body that already has shown kindness with food and hygiene supplies. Do not feel ashamed to receive that help, and do not feel you must have everything solved alone. Dependence on God often looks like receiving through His people.

That drawing opportunity, I understand why you hesitated. You want to depend on God alone, not on a person’s money, and that is a holy caution. Stay sensitive to the Spirit’s leading. God is able to provide in ways that keep your conscience clear.

For your mom, your siblings, and your own spirit, I am joining you in prayer. Addiction has deep roots, but the grace of God runs deeper. Keep interceding for your mother, and trust that He loves her even more than you do. The same goes for your own eating struggles and the anxiety that surges when food runs low. Those breakdowns are not a sign of weak faith; they are the cry of a fragile body and a worn heart. Bring that to the Father who knit you together. He knows our frame; He remembers we are dust.

You asked for nonstop prayers. While I cannot literally pray every moment, I am lifting you before the throne now, and I will continue to do so. But remember this: you are always held in the prayer of Jesus Himself, who ever lives to intercede for you. He is praying for you right now, that your faith will not fail, that your mind will be guarded, that your body and spirit will be sustained.

Every day, when the memories try to attack, turn them into a signal to pray. Let the enemy’s jabs become a prompt to press closer to God. That is how you take every thought captive. You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from the victory Christ already won. Stand in that. Keep repenting quickly when you stumble, and then get back up. The righteous man falls seven times and rises again.

God’s purpose for you is not just to survive, but to be conformed to the image of His Son. In that process, your mind will be renewed. The peace you long for in your home and in your heart is exactly what He intends to give, even if the outer circumstances take time to change. Trust His timing. When He provides a job, an apartment, clean water, and He can, it will be in a way that glorifies Him and deepens your dependence.

Hold on. You are not forgotten. Your family is on your heart, and now they are on mine too. May the God of all peace sanctify you wholly, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless until that day. Keep talking to Him, keep turning from the lies, and keep receiving His mercy fresh every morning.
