Beloved of All
I need prayers and strength to keep trying because last year I was watching something very bad and it tries and sometimes pop up to my head and goes away and I let it it was about this inappropriate step siblings relationship and the end of the chapter the step sister got pregnant had child and married later it's sick and illegal and I didn't realize authors are super sick some because I was searching a kissing video being cheeky and I saw it recommended and I ignored at first then watched it more they had porn of course too for months I stayed away from it which is good since January of 2025 it's may 20, 2026 I need nonstop prayers and to do my part to control it and to continue to be trained by God no matter what even if it's bad curiosity I deserve a clean healthy mind not allowing the devil trying to attack me and get the best of me I feel ok because God always there for me but in mornings I'm mentally not feeling ok and afternoons sometimes but mostly mornings I really need prayers badly and theres times I mostly need prayers because I don't know how to pray and say much and I really need to learn more how to and never give up for past days I slepted more feeling not myself because of it out of nowhere it tries to pop up in my head I think because my actions of course but please keep praying for me I really appreciate this and I want a work from home job anything good that don't requires id because I'm very poor we are good with food thanks to God and I need prayers for that and my mom and siblings and me spiritually and mentally and hopefully my mom be freed from smoking weed she's a good person but everyone has personal addictions because we all go through alot I love drawing and this guy wanted to pay me 100 every end of month for sharing my drawing to him for his music career album but I sadly rejected but I really need prayers because I don't want to depend on nobody and trust and depend on God only and no matter how hard it is I want to stick with God lows and highs and prayers for my brothers and sisters not just my blood ones everyone I don't know and know. Please keep me and my family in your prayers I have a bad mental breakdown when we running low with food and I think I have a eating disorder and we need prayers I know this sounds ungrateful I really appreciate we have a roof over our head but the water is dirty and there's no microwave in the other room for my mom and siblings and hope to find a apartment permanently so we don't have to go through this again and to continue to repent and get closer to God no matter what they do give us some hygiene stuffs and food the church I'm very grateful just would been easier for my family if we was in a place with clean water something that looks like a apartment where we can live in peace with God forever and never let anything that's holding us back in our lives again and nonstop prayers.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. The struggle you describe, being haunted by impure images and thoughts, is a real battle, but it is one that can be won through the power of Christ. The enemy seeks to defile the mind, but God calls us to renew it daily through His Word and Spirit. You are not alone in this fight, and we join you in resisting the devil’s schemes.

First, we must address the root of the issue. The content you consumed, depicting incestuous relationships and sexual immorality, is not only sinful but deeply harmful to the soul. The Bible is clear: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). This applies to all forms of lustful consumption, including pornography and inappropriate media. The fact that you recognized the wickedness of it and have been avoiding it since January ### is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Your desire for a clean mind is righteous, and God honors that. The apostle Paul writes, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8). When impure thoughts arise, you must actively replace them with Scripture, prayer, and godly meditation. This is spiritual warfare, and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We also rebuke the lie that you "deserve" to be tormented. No child of God deserves condemnation, Christ has set you free! "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). The enemy wants you to believe you are beyond redemption, but that is a deception. God’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). When you feel weak, lean on Him all the more.

Your struggles with mental health, especially in the mornings, are valid, and we pray for God’s peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts are not signs of weak faith but of a fallen world. Yet, Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33), and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We encourage you to seek godly counsel if possible, whether through a pastor, biblical counselor, or trusted believer who can walk with you in this season.

You expressed a desire to depend on God alone, and that is a beautiful and biblical posture. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). The offer of payment for your art was not inherently wrong, but your discernment to prioritize God’s provision over man’s is wise. Keep seeking Him first, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). We pray for a godly, sustainable work-from-home opportunity that honors Him and meets your needs.

Your concern for your family, your mother’s struggle with addiction, the lack of clean water, and the instability of your living situation, grieves our hearts. We lift them before the Lord, asking Him to provide abundantly. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). The church’s assistance is a blessing, but we pray for a permanent solution, a safe, stable home where your family can thrive. God is not blind to your suffering; He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8) and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also address the mention of your mother’s smoking weed. While we acknowledge her as a good person, Scripture is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are to honor God with them. Addiction is a spiritual battle, and we pray for her deliverance. "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We stand in the gap for her, asking God to break every chain.

Your eating disorder and the fear of running low on food reveal deep pain. We pray for healing, both physically and emotionally. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). You are not ungrateful; you are human, and God understands your needs. We ask Him to satisfy your hunger, both for food and for righteousness (Matthew 5:6).

Lastly, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and only through Him can we approach the Father. If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, we rejoice! But if not, we pray this moment becomes the day of your salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is fighting a battle for purity, provision, and peace. Lord, You see every struggle, the impure thoughts that plague their mind, the financial strain, the instability of their home, and the pain of addiction in their family. We ask You to break every chain of bondage and fill their mind with Your truth.

Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that they are unworthy or beyond redemption. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We claim that promise over them now. Renew their mind, Lord, and help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When impure images arise, replace them with Your Word and Your presence.

We pray for provision, both for their daily needs and for a stable, godly home. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open doors for a work-from-home job that honors You, and lead them to a place where their family can live in peace and dignity. Heal their mother from the grip of addiction, and restore their family to wholeness.

Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Heal their mental and emotional wounds, and deliver them from any eating disorders or anxieties about food. You are the Bread of Life (John 6:35), and we ask You to satisfy their deepest longings.

Above all, we pray for a deeper relationship with You. Draw them closer, Lord, and help them to depend on You alone. Teach them to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to trust in Your timing. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will walk in victory because greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The battle is real, but the victory is already won. Keep pressing into God, filling your mind with Scripture, and surrounding yourself with believers who can encourage you. You are not forgotten, and your cries have been heard. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting God to move mightily on your behalf.

We’re right here with you in this, and we won’t stop praying. You’ve been carrying a lot, not just the unwelcome mental replays, but the weight of feeling stuck, the worry over your mom and siblings, the stress when supplies run thin. That’s not ungrateful; that’s just honest. Being thankful for what you have and still aching for something safer and steadier aren’t opposites. They live side by side in a lot of faithful hearts.

What stands out most is how hard you’re fighting for a clean mind, even when mornings feel disoriented and the old images nudge back in. Those pop-ups aren’t proof you’re losing, they’re actually a sign your mind is resisting what used to settle in unnoticed. You’re learning to catch them now, and that’s a skill God is building in you. We think of what ### said about genuine purity being possible for those who are genuinely willing, not perfect, just willing. You sound willing to us.

On the practical side, we hear the longing for work that doesn’t require an ID and a place with clean water. Those are real needs. While we pray, keep asking around, sometimes churches know people hiring for odd jobs, cleaning, or childcare that don't start with paperwork. Reaching out again to the church that’s given food, they may know someone who can help with the water or point toward rental assistance. You don’t have to solve all of it alone or overnight.

We’re also praying for your mom. Addiction doesn’t mean someone’s bad, you said it well. She’s carrying her own burdens, and so are you. God holds both of you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear sister. Guard her mind when mornings feel shaky and unwelcome thoughts knock, let them pass without landing. Provide steady work and a path toward a home with clean water, room to breathe, and peace. Be close to her mom in her struggle, and bring freedom in Your time. Feed them, steady them, and let each small step remind them You haven’t let go. In Your name, Amen.

The very fact that these foul images and memories trouble your mind is proof that the Spirit of God is striving within you, awakening your conscience to the hatefulness of the thing. Sin first tickles the fancy, then it stings the soul; that which you once watched with a kind of vile curiosity has now become a nest of scorpions in your memory. Let this be to you a merciful distress, for the dead in sin feel no such torment over their corruptions. God is watching your thoughts, and that very watchfulness, though it makes you tremble, is your hope. He sees the struggle, the recoiling of your renewed nature from the filth that the old nature once sipped like a poisoned cordial. And what does He think of you, poor trembling soul? Not what you imagine in your unbelief! His thoughts are not your thoughts. You think He must be weary of your stumbling, ready to cast you off because the abominable scenes replay behind your eyes. But His thoughts are high above that, as the heavens are above the earth. He knows your frame; He remembers that you are dust. The blood of Jesus Christ speaks better things for you than your own accusing heart can utter. That unclean relationship, that vile imagining which the world winks at and novelists peddle for silver, God calls it sin, and so must you, without softening the word. But the same God who hates the sin has provided a full and free pardon for the sinner who flees to Christ.

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. These morning horrors you describe, awaking with a sense of defilement, a heaviness as though a corpse lay on your chest, these are the after-pangs of a wound that is being healed. The dog of hell barks loudest when he is being driven from his prey. When the evil thought pops up unbidden, do not stop to argue with it or to examine its loathsomeness as if you could scrub it away by your own reasoning. That is to let the tar-baby stick to you. Cry out to Christ in that very instant: “Lord, I am a sink of iniquity; my thoughts fly to the forbidden like sparks to the tinder; undertake for me! Deliver me from the pit, for I am going down into it unless You hold me up!” A single upward glance of faith will do more than an hour of inward lamentation. You are not called to master these thoughts by sheer willpower, as if you could stop the birds from flying over your head; but you are called to refuse them a nest in your hair. When they come, let them find you on your knees, even if all you can stammer out is, “God be merciful to me a sinner.” He hears that. He inclines His ear to the needy. Your very poverty in prayer is the kind of emptiness He delights to fill.

Do you say you know not how to pray? Blessed be God, the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities. A groan, a sigh, a tear, a simple, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit,” reaches the throne as surely as the most stately litany ever composed by an archbishop. Cease from the fancy that you must find well-arranged words. Prayer is the heart’s converse with God, not an oration. Tell Him just what you have told me, that the foul scenes trouble you, that you hate them, that you are ashamed, that you cling to Him as a limpet to the rock when the tide of filth would sweep you out to sea. That is the sound of faith, and faith is the hand that strips the sting from the old serpent, Death.

And what of your daily circumstances, the dirty water, the cramped room, the lacking microwave, the fear when the cupboard grows bare? These things are not signs of God’s forgetfulness; they are the rough tools He often uses to wean you from a perishing world and drive you to the unsearchable riches of Christ. You feel the pinch of poverty; very well, let it pinch you into the shape that best pleases your Lord. You long for a work-from-home position that requires no identification, the path seems blocked and you regret the drawing-work you let slip. It is natural to regret a lost opportunity when the ravens have not yet brought the evening meat. But “I thought” has been the mournful note of many a saint who later found that God’s denial was a greater mercy than any granting could have been. You thought that hundred dollars a month would be your deliverance; God thought that dependence on an unknown patron for a music career might prove a snare to your soul, a new chain when He means you to walk free. His thoughts are precious, even when they cross our fondest schemes. Cast yourself upon Him for daily bread, and be content to accept what He sends, whether by the ravens or by the hand of some lowly Elijah. The church’s bag of rice and bar of soap, given in Christ’s name, is a banquet served by angels compared to a feast won by compromise.

You pray for your mother’s freedom from the weed that clouds her mind. Pray on, and do not think it a small request. The God who breaks the cedars of Lebanon can snap a smoking habit as easily as a child breaks a twig. Only, in your prayers, lay hold upon His covenant faithfulness, not upon your own worthiness. Plead the blood of Jesus over your household. You feel the weight of your siblings’ spiritual state, and even the burden of strangers, this is the mark of a heart enlarged by grace, for nature cares only for its own. Such burdens are the footprints of the great Shepherd leading you through the valley of death-shade. Do not be astonished when the mental breakdown threatens, when the eating disorder whispers its lies. In the multitude of your thoughts within you, tumultuous, accusing, despairing, His comforts will delight your soul, if you will learn to lean upon Him in the dark. The comfort may not come as a sudden ecstasy; it may steal in as a quiet resolve to take the next step, a gentle remembrance of a promise, a doxology sung under the breath. That is the finger of God smoothing the ruffled brow of your spirit.

Make it your daily business to have God’s thoughts instead of your own. How can you get them? By saturating your mind with the Scriptures. When the foul imagination rises, go at once to some portion of the Word, the Psalms, the Gospels, the Epistles. Read until the cleansing water washes over the defiled floor of your fancy. This is not a vain repetition of words; it is the sword of the Spirit, by which you may cut down the invading Amalekites at the very door of your soul. A clean mind is not a room scrubbed empty and left vacant, waiting for the next demon to enter with seven worse; it is a room filled with the treasures of eternal truth, so that there is no corner left for a dark thought to make its nest. The idle hour and the vacant eye are the Devil’s workshop; the mind stored with Scripture is a temple where God delights to dwell.

And as to your earthly habitation, cry mightily to the Lord for a place where the water runs clear and your family may sit in peace. He is not deaf; He is not constrained by landlords or housing shortages. Yet, if He tarries, know that the Son of Man had not where to lay His head, and the servant is not above his Master. Your very discomforts are errands upon which He sends you to His throne. That worn-out anxiety when the food runs low, bring it to the Lord before it becomes a panic. Say to Him, “My family is Your family; will You see them famished? The earth is Yours and the fullness thereof; the cattle on a thousand hills are Yours; command Your stores, O Lord, for Your great name’s sake.” That is the boldness of faith that pleases Him. You fear it sounds ungrateful; it is not ungrateful to trust a generous Father to continue His generosity. It is the highest praise to count upon His goodness.

You wish to be trained by God no matter what, to stick with Him in lows and highs. That is a noble desire, and it is the very proof that He has already begun the good work in you. He will complete it. The Saint is never so safe as when he feels himself to be standing over the pit, clinging only to the rope of grace. Let the memory of your former sin be a goad to drive you closer to the Cross, not a whip to lacerate your conscience beyond the healing scar. Jesus Christ has already gone down into the pit of death for His people and risen again; He holds the keys. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Him. Walk this day as a forgiven child, not as a cringing slave. And when the morning heaviness descends again, remember that you awake, and are still with Him. The serpent’s head is bruised. The sting is drawn. The foul thoughts are a defeated enemy’s last, desperate lies. Answer them with Christ’s victory, and they shall flee.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not think that you alone are caught in such a net of sorrows and fierce temptations, for every soul on this earth bears its own grief, whether from without or from within. One is unhappy over a spouse, another over a child, another over poverty, another over the war that rages in his own heart. What you describe are the after-images of sin, the smoke of a fire you have wisely turned away from since January. That unclean story and the filthy visions that came with it have left a stain on the memory, and the devil, seeing his bait refused, now tries to torment you with the smoke. But take courage: temptations, when resisted, become the very anvils on which God forges a stronger mind. The early Church shone like angels because they had no worldly cares, and afflictions brought them closer to one another and to Christ. You are now in that furnace; do not despise the heat.

When those images rise unbidden, do not receive them with curiosity or terror. Bind your heart and mind as a prisoner of Christ. There are holy bonds, the cords of prayer and the remembrance of Scripture, that can tie down the unruly imagination. If you cannot pray with many words, cry out like a child to a father: “Lord, cleanse me! Lord, help me!” The grace of the Spirit works not by eloquence but by the groanings of a humble heart. Did not the Apostle Paul, once a skin-cutter, speak such wisdom? So too, God will fill your mouth and your mind with strength when you call upon Him.

Do not let your poverty or the want of clean water and a stable home crush your spirit. True, the body needs bread and a roof, and it is not ungodly to ask for these things. Yet remember that the world was not worthy of the saints who wandered in deserts and caves. If God were to give you all your rewards here, it would be an insult to the inheritance laid up for you. He permits these straits to loosen your grip on a world that is passing away. At the same time, do your part: look for that work-from-home, and if a door opens that does not require sin or compromise, take it with thanksgiving. But never clutch at money as though it were your savior. The Church’s storehouse is meant to be the cheerful hearts of the faithful, not the hardened hoarding of each for himself. The alms you may one day give, even from your poverty, will be a pure offering.

For your mother’s addiction to the weed, pray with tears, but do not be her judge. A good person caught in a private chain is still a prisoner. Remember that Christ beheld the trembling disciples with a mild and steady look to soothe their terror before He spoke of the impossible made possible. So look upon her with that same long-suffering love, and trust that God can break that fetter in His time. Your own eating disorder, that dread when food runs low, is a wound that the Comforter wants to heal. Do not despise the body that God created, but also do not make its cravings a master. Eat with moderation and prayer, and when fear rises, say aloud: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” It is in the morning, when the mind is raw and unprotected, that the dark nest of yesterday’s filth tries to rebuild itself. Meet the dawn with a verse upon your lips, a psalm, even a single “Kyrie eleison” repeated until the light chases away the shadows.

You are not ungrateful for wanting a proper home with clean water. You are human. But do not let the lack of a microwave or the dirt in the water become a lens of despair. The body may suffer discomfort, but the soul can dwell in peace if it fixes its eyes on the things that are eternal. When the disciples could not understand the Lord’s words about His resurrection, He dwelt on the hard sayings to open their minds. So your present trials are meant to open your eyes to the resurrection life, where no stomach growls and no tap runs foul. Meanwhile, bear them with patience, for patience is the quiet child of hope.

As for the drawing and the musician’s offer: if your art can be used without defilement, consider whether your refusal came from fear or from wisdom. There is no sin in earning bread by your gift, so long as the work does not entangle you in the lusts of the world. But if you felt a check in your spirit, then you did well to honor it, for our dependence is indeed upon God alone. He will supply your need, sometimes through ravens, sometimes through a kind stranger.

I will not cease to offer the prayer of the Church for you and for your household, both near and far. But do your part as well: fast from those images, not letting them linger one instant. If they fly through, slam the door of the mind behind them. Think how the Lord’s suffering puts all our petty torments to silence. Stand firm until the day breaks and these shadows flee away, and you find yourself with a clean and healthy mind, a gift no man can steal.

Your battle is not against flesh and blood, and the very fact that these images and thoughts trouble you proves that the Spirit within you is at war with the flesh. The temptation itself is not the sin; you are not condemned because something ugly flickers through your mind. What matters is that you do not yield. You do not entertain it. The moment it tries to surface, you must choose. Will you walk after the flesh and turn aside to dwell on it, or will you walk after the Spirit and refuse to give it a home? Every temptation is a decision point, and you have been making the right one since January. That is worth acknowledging. God sees it.

Temptation always holds out the promise of immediate fulfillment if we will only step off God’s path. Satan tried it with Jesus himself, offering a shortcut that would bypass the cross. Jesus rejected it. So can you. The solicitation to evil is not from God, and He does not stand over you waiting for you to fall. He has already made a way. You have a great High Priest who passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God. He was tempted as you are, and He understands the pressure. Because He knows what it is to face the pull toward sin, He can have compassion on your weakness and help you in your time of need. This is not theory. You can come boldly to the throne of grace, not to a paymaster, but to the One who gives mercy and grace to help right when the fight is hardest.

When the mornings feel dark and the thoughts seem strongest, do not think you have to generate some perfect prayer. His Word is alive and sharp, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Lay those thoughts open before Him. Say simply, “Lord, You see this. I cannot manage it. I trust You.” His power is made perfect in weakness. Let that rest you. The striving, the mental turmoil, comes when we try to win by our own effort and forget that Jesus has already won. He calls you to enter His rest by faith. That rest is not passivity; it is a quiet confidence that He is in control and that His finished work is enough.

Your desire for a clean mind is holy. Keep filling it with what is pure. The unrighteous man thinks on evil, but the one who returns to the Lord finds that His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are higher. God’s path often looks different from what seems logical to us. You turned down an opportunity to earn money with your drawings because you wanted to depend on God alone. That is a rare and precious conviction. Yet also remember that every good gift comes from Him, and sometimes He provides through the work of our hands. Pray for wisdom, and keep your heart open. He knows your poverty, the dirty water, the need for a permanent home, the microwave and the running low on food. He sees your mother’s struggle with weed and your own turmoil around food. None of this is hidden from Him. He who gave His own Son to redeem you from all iniquity will not abandon you to these circumstances.

For your family, and for all your brothers and sisters in the faith, keep lifting them before the Lord. He hears. As for your own prayer life, let it be honest and short if needed. A few words born of faith are mightier than many words filled with anxiety. Trust that the Spirit intercedes when you do not know how.

Stay watchful. Each time those old images suggest themselves, remember: you are not who you were. You have been bought with a price. The temptation will test your faith, and that testing develops patience. Let patience have its perfect work. The morning heaviness will not last forever. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. He will sustain you.
