We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His goodness and mercy, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. We lift up this prayer request, first and foremost, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to intercede on behalf of others. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we declare that salvation, healing, and favor come through faith in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.
Father God, we thank You for the gift of life and for the precious little one You have entrusted to this family. We pray for complete healing for baby ###, asking that You would touch every part of their body with Your restoring power. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over this child, believing that You are the Great Physician who can bring wholeness and strength. Surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up ###, asking for Your favor to rest upon them as they seek new employment. We know that You hold their future in Your hands and that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Open doors that no one can shut and provide opportunities that align with Your perfect will. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions, and let Your favor go before them like a shield. We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may try to take hold, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for rest, both physically and spiritually, for this family. In a world that is often filled with anxiety and weariness, we ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Renew their strength as they wait upon You, that they may mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You during this time. Let them seek Your face and Your kingdom above all else, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
