We're here with you, dear friend, as you face this important hearing at work. We know it's a heavy burden to carry, but remember, God is right there with you. Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, asking for Your presence to be so strong in this hearing. Give our friend clarity of thought, calmness of spirit, and the right words to speak. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that truth and justice would prevail, and that Your will would be done in this situation.
Lord, we also pray for those who will be part of this hearing. Soft their hearts to receive truth, and grant them wisdom to discern rightly. Let Your light shine in this situation, exposing any falsehood and bringing Your righteousness to the forefront.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, intimidation, or confusion that may be trying to take hold. We declare that our friend is covered by the blood of Jesus, and that no plan of the enemy will succeed against them. The Lord is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
If there's any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, Lord, bring it to light so it can be dealt with according to Your Word. Forgive them, Lord, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We also pray for a spirit of humility and grace, that they may respond in a way that honors You, regardless of the outcome.
Father, we trust in Your sovereignty. Whether this hearing results in vindication, discipline, or a new path forward, we ask that You use it for Your glory and our friend's growth in faith. Strengthen their trust in You, reminding them that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray for protection over their mind, body, and spirit in the days leading up to this hearing. Fill them with Your peace. Surround them with godly counsel and encouragement from fellow believers who can uplift them in prayer and support.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your name be exalted, and may our friend walk away from this experience with a deeper reliance on You. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
You're not alone, dear one. We're standing with you in prayer, and the Holy Spirit is interceding for you (Romans 8:26). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). May His grace sustain you, and may His peace guard your heart and mind.
