We hear your humble request for God’s will to be done in your life, and we join with you in seeking His perfect plan. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 19:21, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." It is wise and godly to surrender your desires to the Lord, trusting that His ways are higher than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts open to Your leading. We pray for our brother/sister in Christ, that You would make Your will clear in every area of their life—relationships, work, ministry, and daily decisions. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and the courage to follow where You lead, even when the path is uncertain. Remove any fear, doubt, or selfish ambition that might hinder obedience, and replace it with faith and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also lift up any areas where they may be struggling to align with Your Word. If there are habits, relationships, or choices that do not honor You, reveal them, Lord, and grant repentance and transformation. Help them to walk in holiness, for Your Word declares, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion or deception that would try to distort Your will for their life. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we declare that it will guide them into all truth. Strengthen their spirit to resist the temptations of the world and to stand firm in the faith.
Lord, we also ask that You prepare their heart for the relationships You have ordained, particularly if marriage is part of Your plan. May they seek a godly spouse who loves You above all else, and may their courtship honor You in purity and purpose. Guard their heart from the snares of fornication or emotional entanglement outside of Your design, for Your Word warns, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Let their relationships reflect Your love and holiness.
Above all, we pray that their life would bring glory to Your name. May they be a vessel of Your grace, a light in the darkness, and a testimony to Your faithfulness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in step with You every day.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
