We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these requests for peace and resolution in tax matters. First, we acknowledge that true peace comes only through Jesus Christ, who said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27 WEB). Without Him, there is no lasting peace, for He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Only then can the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Father God, we pray for Your divine peace to flood this life. Where there is anxiety, replace it with trust in You. Where there is unrest, bring the calming presence of Your Spirit. Help this dear one to cast all their cares upon You, knowing You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find rest in Your promises and strength in Your Word.
Regarding the tax issues, we declare that the Lord is their provider and sustainer. We rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion surrounding these matters and command clarity and wisdom to prevail. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We pray for favor with authorities, for just resolutions, and for divine intervention where human efforts fall short. May every financial burden be lifted according to Your will, and may this situation draw them closer to You.
We also encourage seeking godly counsel—whether from a trusted financial advisor, a pastor, or a fellow believer—who can offer wisdom and support. Remember, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."* (Proverbs 15:22 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You go before them in every step, making crooked paths straight and opening doors no one can shut. May they experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways and grow in faith through this trial. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
