We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents before our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. We know that in times of sickness and weakness, our faith is tested, but we also know that our God is faithful and His mercies endure forever.

First, we lift up your mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Father, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. Diabetes is a relentless foe, but You are the God who created her body and knows every cell within her. We pray for strength and restoration, Lord. Bring down her blood sugar levels and grant her body the ability to fight this infection. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Give her the discipline to follow the medical advice she has been given, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).

For your father, we bring his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract problems, and blood pressure before You, Lord. You are the One who formed his innermost parts and knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would touch his eyes and restore his sight. Remove the pain of his headaches and grant him relief. Heal his urinary tract and regulate his blood pressure, Lord. We speak life and health over his body, for You came that he might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every ailment to flee in the name of Jesus.

We also want to encourage you both to seek the Lord in this time. Sickness can often lead us to question or doubt, but we must remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Use this time to draw closer to Him, to trust in His promises, and to lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Encourage your parents to spend time in prayer and in the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Lord, we lift up these precious parents to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their lives. Touch their bodies, Father, and bring complete healing. We rebuke every sickness, every infection, and every ailment in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak life over every part of their bodies.

Lord, we ask that You would give them strength and endurance as they walk through this valley. Fill them with Your peace and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and not to lean on their own understanding. Give them the wisdom to follow medical advice and the discipline to care for their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit.

We also pray for their spiritual well-being, Lord. Draw them closer to You and help them to grow in their faith. Let this time of sickness be a time of spiritual renewal and deeper dependence on You. Surround them with Your love and the love of their family and friends.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are a God who heals. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, for He is faithful. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Him. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
