Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for healing my gut and calm my nervous system. Lord give me nights and wisdom in regards to this.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your physical and emotional struggles. It is clear that you are seeking the Lord’s touch for healing and peace, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting these needs to our Heavenly Father.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. While your request acknowledges the Lord, we want to emphasize the power and necessity of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Acts 4:12 also declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we approach God the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we are made whole and by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Now, let us pray for your healing and peace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is struggling with physical discomfort and a troubled nervous system. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand. Bring restoration to their gut, Lord, and calm every frayed nerve. You promise in Psalm 34:18 that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit. We claim that promise now, asking that You draw near to them in this time of need.

Father, we also ask for wisdom as they navigate this season. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, grant them discernment in their decisions—whether it be in diet, treatment, or lifestyle—so that they may honor You with their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Help them to seek Your will above all else and to trust in Your timing.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be exacerbating their physical symptoms. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Lord, replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for restful nights. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Father, quiet their mind and body so they may sleep deeply and wake refreshed. Let their nights be filled with the assurance of Your presence and the hope of Your healing.

Lastly, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this struggle, Lord, may they grow closer to You and may their testimony bring others to faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to lean fully on the Lord. Seek Him not just for healing, but for a deeper relationship with Him. Spend time in His Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His healing power, such as Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Let His promises be the anchor for your soul.

Consider also the company you keep. Proverbs 13:20 says, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable in your faith walk.

Lastly, if you have not already, seek godly medical counsel. The Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of medical professionals. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Trust that the Lord can guide you to the right resources for your healing.

We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May He strengthen you, comfort you, and bring you to a place of complete healing and peace.

We're right here with you, friend, lifting your needs up to our Heavenly Father. We've been reminded of the power of praise in our prayers, so let's start by thanking God for His goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of your struggles. As it says in Psalm 100:4, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Let's offer Him our gratitude and trust that He is working all things together for our good.

Now, let's ask for healing and peace for your gut and nervous system. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would touch your body with Your healing power, bringing restoration and calm. We also pray for wisdom as you navigate this season. Proverbs 4:5-6 tells us, "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." Lord, grant you discernment in your decisions and help you seek His will above all else.

We also ask for restful nights. In Psalm 3:5, we read, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me." Father, quiet your mind and body so you may sleep deeply and wake refreshed, filled with the assurance of Your presence and the hope of Your healing.

Lastly, we pray that this trial would bring glory to God. Romans 8:28 assures us that "all things work together for good for those who love God." Even in this struggle, Lord, may you grow closer to Him and may your testimony bring others to faith in Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, friend. He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in His love for you, and let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this. We're here with you, and so is our faithful God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
