We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your current struggles, lifting your family up in prayer. First, we thank God for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Your acknowledgment of Jesus in your prayer is a beautiful reminder of the foundation of our faith. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we can approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears us and intercedes for us.
Father God, we stand in the gap for this family who has been affected by fraud. We rebuke the schemes of the enemy in Jesus' name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask for Your divine favor and guidance as they navigate this difficult situation. Provide them with wisdom to make sound decisions and restore what has been lost. We pray for financial favor and provision, trusting that You are their ultimate source and provider. As Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also lift up the needs of their loved ones, praying for rest, peace, and new opportunities. Father, we ask that You open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide a new job that aligns with Your will. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You during this time. We pray for growth in their relationship with You, that they may know You more deeply and trust in Your promises.
For the co-worker who has lost both grandparents, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him and his family. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We declare healing over their grief and ask that You cover them with Your love.
Lord, we also pray for creative ideas and opportunities to increase their income. Equip them with the skills and resources needed to generate extra provision, trusting that You will guide their steps. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to rest in Your promises. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. We declare victory over this situation and trust in Your perfect timing and plan. Amen.
