We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this earnest prayer to our Heavenly Father. First, we give thanks for the precious gift of Jesus Christ, Your Son, whose sacrifice has opened the way for us to approach You with boldness. It is only through His name that we have access to Your presence, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that salvation is found in none other than Jesus.
Father, we lift up this family who has been struck by fraud. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the schemes of the devil in this situation, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask for Your divine favor and guidance as they navigate this trial. Grant them wisdom to make sound decisions, discernment to recognize truth, and courage to stand firm in faith. Restore what has been lost, O God, and reward their trust in You. You are the God who sees and the God who provides, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also pray for favor in this dear one’s job over the next few weeks. May their work be fruitful, their efforts recognized, and their steps ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). Father, we ask for financial favor—not for greed or selfish gain, but that they may be a good steward of what You entrust to them and have enough to meet their needs and bless others. Open doors of opportunity for extra income, Lord, and give them creative ideas to generate provision in ways that honor You. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust You to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
For ###, we pray for good rest and peace. In a world full of turmoil, You are our peace (John 14:27). Calm their mind, still their heart, and grant them the rest that only comes from trusting in You. We also pray for a new job and support for them. Father, You know their needs even before they ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to provide the right opportunity at the right time. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and draw them closer to You in this season. May they grow in the knowledge of Your love, Your faithfulness, and Your goodness.
For the co-worker, ###, who is grieving the loss of both grandparents, we ask for Your comfort to surround him and his family. You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Wrap Your arms around them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Heal their hearts, and remind them that those who die in Christ are not lost but merely absent from the body and present with You (2 Corinthians 5:8). Give them hope in the resurrection and the promise of eternal life.
Heavenly Father, we also take a moment to address the importance of trusting You fully in every area of life. Trials like fraud, financial stress, and grief can shake our faith, but we are reminded that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Help this family to lean not on their own understanding but to acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. By His authority, we declare breakthrough, restoration, and peace over this family. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified in every situation. Amen.
