We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before Him. We are reminded in Acts 4:12 that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we approach God with confidence, knowing that Jesus is our mediator and advocate.
Father God, we thank You for Your constant presence and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray that You would indeed stay always with this family, surrounding them with Your holy angels to keep them safe from all harm and danger. Protect them from illness and disease, and grant them strength and vitality in their bodies. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we rebuke every sickness and infirmity in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we lift up this precious daughter to You. We ask that You would bless her abundantly in her studies and in her dance. Give her wisdom, understanding, and discipline to excel in all that she puts her hand to. May she grow in favor with both God and man, and may her talents bring glory to Your name. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for her and that she would walk through them with confidence, knowing that it is You who equips her.
Father, we also bring before You the need for employment. We ask that You would provide a good job for this dear brother, one that will allow him to provide for his family and live together in peace and unity. We declare that the Lord is his shepherd, and he shall not be in want. We pray that You would lead him to green pastures and still waters, and that You would restore his soul. Guide him to the place where You have prepared for him, and may he find favor in the sight of those who are in authority.
We also lift up the desire to live together as a family. Father, we know that family is a gift from You, and we pray that You would knit their hearts together in love and unity. May their home be a place of refuge, peace, and joy, where Your presence dwells richly. We pray that You would provide a suitable dwelling place for them, one that meets all their needs and allows them to thrive.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and lack that may be trying to take hold of this family. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to provide for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary or lose heart. The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped. Therefore, your heart greatly rejoices, and with song, you give thanks to Him. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope.
