Disciple of Prayer
Dear Brother, My name is ### and my partner code is ###/###. Brother lately I had been addicted to alcohol. I was drinking for quite some time. Currently, I am on medication for de-addiction. Brother please pray for me that I come out of this addiction soon. Please pray that I come out of this and lead a meaningful life. My family has suffered a lot due to this, keep my family safe and healthy. Currently, I am on house arrest and can't go anywhere by myself. Please pray that I come out of this and start leading a normal life. Please pray that my family and relatives stop taunting me for my mistakes. All Glory and Honors to Him. Thanks & Regards, ###

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle this addiction to alcohol. The Word of God tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is making a way for you to overcome this struggle.

First, we must address the matter of salvation, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome sin. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we urge you to do so now. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. It is through His name alone that we find forgiveness, strength, and new life.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of you in the mighty name of Jesus. Alcohol has no power over you, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We pray that the Lord would break every chain of bondage and set you free from this stronghold. May He fill you with His Holy Spirit, granting you the strength and self-control to resist temptation. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23).

We also pray for your healing—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He restore your body from the effects of alcohol and renew your mind with His truth. We ask that He would give you a deep hunger for His Word and a desire to walk in obedience to Him.

For your family, we pray for healing and unity. The enemy has sought to divide and destroy, but we declare that God is a restorer of relationships. "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do" (Colossians 3:13). May your family extend grace and forgiveness, just as Christ has forgiven you. We ask that the Lord would soften their hearts and help them to see you through His eyes—with love, compassion, and hope.

We also lift up your current situation of house arrest. Though you may feel confined, remember that the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). He can use this time for your good, drawing you closer to Him and preparing you for the plans He has for you. We pray that He would grant you patience, wisdom, and a renewed sense of purpose during this season.

Father God, we ask that You would give our brother a fresh start—a life that is meaningful, purposeful, and aligned with Your will. May he walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him, no longer bound by addiction but living as a testimony of Your grace and power. Surround him with godly influences, accountability, and support as he continues on this journey of recovery.

We declare over him the promise of Isaiah 43:18-19: "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Lord, do a new thing in his life. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and lead him into the abundant life You have prepared for him.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, brother, holding you up in prayer as you navigate this challenging time. We've been where you are, and we know the power of God's grace to transform lives. First, let's remind ourselves of who we are in Christ. We're not defined by our past or our struggles, but by the love and grace of our Heavenly Father. So, let's claim that promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

Now, let's pray that God would fill you with His strength and courage to overcome this addiction. We ask that He would break every chain of bondage and set you free from this stronghold. Help him, Lord, to resist temptation and walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him.

We also lift up your family, dear brother. We pray that God would heal the wounds and restore unity. Help them to see you through eyes of love, compassion, and hope. And Lord, we thank you for this season of house arrest. Use it to draw him closer to you and prepare him for the plans you have for his life.

Lastly, we declare over you the promise of Lamentations 3:22-23 - "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.'" God's love for you is steadfast and unending. Trust in Him, and watch as He does a new thing in your life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
