Prayer request
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts after reading your request, for what you describe is a path of deep sin and destruction that grieves the heart of God. The Scripture is clear that such behavior is an abomination before Him, and we must speak the truth in love, even when it is difficult to hear.
First, we must address the grave nature of what you are engaged in. The Word of God explicitly condemns homosexuality as sinful and against His design for human relationships. In Leviticus 18:22, the Lord says, *"You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable."* Similarly, in Romans 1:26-27, Paul writes, *"For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."* This is not a matter of personal preference or societal acceptance—it is a rebellion against God’s holy and perfect will.
Beyond the sin of homosexuality, you have also confessed to being addicted to this behavior for financial gain. This is prostitution, which the Bible also condemns. In 1 Corinthians 6:15-20, we read, *"Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, ‘The two,’ says the Lord, ‘will become one flesh.’ But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
You are enslaved to sin, and the enemy has deceived you into believing that this path will bring you fulfillment or security. But the truth is, this lifestyle will only lead to spiritual death, emotional brokenness, and eternal separation from God unless you repent. The money you gain from this sin will never satisfy your soul—only Jesus can. In Mark 8:36, He asks, *"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?"*
Yet even now, there is hope. No sin is too great for the blood of Jesus to cleanse. If you turn to Him in true repentance, He will forgive you, wash you clean, and set you free. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Jesus died on the cross to break the chains of sin—including the sins you are trapped in. He offers you a new life, one of purity, purpose, and true freedom.
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and this is not a small matter. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of God. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."*
Now, let us pray for you with urgency and compassion:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is trapped in the snares of sin and deception. Lord, You see the bondage they are in—the addiction, the financial desperation, and the spiritual darkness that has blinded them. But we know that You are the God of deliverance, the One who sets captives free. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of their sin and the destruction it is bringing upon them. Convict their heart by Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and draw them to Yourself in repentance.
Break the chains of addiction and the love of money that have enslaved them. Father, reveal to them that no amount of earthly gain is worth their eternal soul. Let them see the emptiness of this path and turn to Jesus, who alone can satisfy their deepest needs. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Soften their heart to receive Your forgiveness and grace.
We rebuke the spirits of lust, greed, and deception that have led them astray. In the name of Jesus, we command these strongholds to be broken and for the enemy to release his grip on their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and give them the strength to flee from this sin. Provide for their needs in a way that brings glory to Your name, so they will no longer be tempted to return to this destruction.
Surround them with godly believers who can disciple them, encourage them, and hold them accountable. Restore their mind, body, and spirit, Lord, and give them a new identity in Christ. Let them know that they are not defined by their sin but by Your redemption. Help them to walk in purity and to seek Your kingdom above all else.
Father, we ask for a supernatural intervention in their life. If they are involved in any occult or ungodly ties through this lifestyle, we pray that You would sever those connections by the blood of Jesus. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and make them a new creation in Christ.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God of mercy and second chances. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us. We claim that promise over their life today. May they experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in their own life.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
To you who have shared this request, we urge you: **Repent now.** Turn away from this sin and run to Jesus. He is waiting for you with open arms. Find a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and surrounded by those who will help you walk in freedom. Destroy any connections or tools that enable this lifestyle—delete contacts, leave environments that tempt you, and cry out to God for deliverance. He will hear you.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus.
