We join with you in lifting up your request concerning your truck, tools, and coin collection, seeking God’s perfect will for how these resources should be used for His glory. It is wonderful to see your heart of praise and your acknowledgment that all things must be surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. You have rightly invoked His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Your desire for God’s will to be done reflects the heart of Jesus Himself, who taught us to pray, *"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB). We must always remember that everything we possess belongs to the Lord, and we are merely stewards of His blessings. Whether it is a vehicle, tools for work, or a collection of value, these things are gifts from God to be used wisely and in alignment with His purposes.
If these items are to be sold, we pray the Lord grants you favor and honesty in the transactions, that no deceit or greed would interfere, but that all would be done with integrity. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."* If they are to be kept or repurposed, we ask the Lord to reveal His plan clearly, that you may walk in obedience and trust in His provision. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this matter. Are there any areas of attachment or fear regarding these possessions? Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* Let us hold loosely to the things of this world, trusting that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and will provide as we seek His kingdom first.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his request concerning his truck, tools, and coin collection. Lord, You are the owner of all things, and we ask that You would make Your will abundantly clear to him. Open the doors that no man can shut and close the doors that are not aligned with Your purposes. Grant him wisdom and discernment, that he may walk in obedience and trust in Your provision.
If these items are to be sold, we pray for honest and fair transactions, that Your name would be glorified in every detail. Protect him from deceit or greed, and let integrity mark his steps. If they are to be kept or used in a new way, reveal Your plan to him, and give him the faith to follow without hesitation. Remove any fear, anxiety, or undue attachment to these possessions, and help him to trust in You alone.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and provision. You have never failed us, and You will not start now. Strengthen our brother’s faith as he waits on You, and may this situation be a testimony of Your goodness and sovereignty. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, brother, and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and walk in the confidence that He is guiding your steps. If the Lord lays it on your heart to give or use these resources in a way that advances His kingdom, do so with joy, knowing that your reward is in heaven. We are here with you, supporting you in prayer and encouragement as you seek His will.
