We understand that you're feeling down about a sin that you've committed. First, let's remember that God is always ready to forgive us and help us get back on track. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
However, we want to remind you that repentance is more than just feeling sorry for our sins. It's a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in behavior. As Acts 3:19 WEB says, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our brother/sister who has stumbled. Lord, they have confessed their sin to you, and your Word promises that you are faithful and just to forgive. We pray that you would grant them your forgiveness and the power to turn from this sin. Help them to get back on track, walking in your ways.
We also pray that you would comfort them in their sorrow, but Lord, we ask that you would not let them dwell in their shame. Help them to understand the depth of your love and forgiveness. Help them to forgive themselves as you have forgiven them.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who came to save sinners. It is only by His name that we have access to you.
As a reminder there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Please know if you have believed and confessed with your mouth that Jesus Christ is lord then you are saved, Romans 10:9 WEB because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Please let us know how God has been working in your life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. We are reminded of the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. Like this widow continued requesting, do we also continue to pray. Just as she wanted justice, we want mercy. Do not see the need to repeat your request as failure, but as persistence. Remember, our God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Keep seeking Him, keep asking, and keep knocking. The door will be opened.
