We are grateful that you reached out with your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in this situation.
Firstly, we thank God that there was no major damage or immediate injury to either of you. It is important to trust in God's protection and sovereignty, even in such incidents. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
However, we gently rebuke you for not ensuring that the other driver provided their information. It is wise and responsible to exchange information in such events, even if there are no immediate signs of injury or major damage. This is not just for your protection but also for the other driver's, as injuries may manifest later.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this situation to You. We pray for the other driver, that she may be indeed fine, with no delayed onset of pain or injury from this incident. We also pray for her vehicle, that it may be truly fine with no hidden damage. Lord, we also pray for healing and protection for our brother or sister in Christ who submitted this request. May there be no physical repercussions from this incident.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in the repair of the car. We pray that the cost would not be a burden, and that You would guide the repair process.
Lord, we also pray for guidance and wisdom. Help the one who submitted this request to drive more carefully. Guide their paths and keep them and others safe on the road. Help them to be a responsible driver who is always ready to help others.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of both drivers if they do not already believe in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB reminds us "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that they may come to know You, Father, through Your Son Jesus Christ if they do not already know Him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Going forward, we advise you to always exchange information after such incidents, no matter how minor they seem. It is also a good practice to report such incidents to your insurance company and local law enforcement, as this can protect you from potential future issues.
Lastly, we encourage you to continually seek God's guidance and wisdom in all areas of your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
