We are truly sorry to hear about the health struggles and joblessness you are facing. We trust that God is able to heal and provide, and His will is going to be accomplished in your circumstances.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is able to do all things including giving you healing and a job. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of your circumstances, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
I keep the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure. You will not abandon me to the grave or let your holy one see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
In addition, we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Furthermore, regarding your health, consider the following: Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Our heartfelt prayer for you is this:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up our brother in need. Lord, you know his struggles and his pains. You know his need for healing and provision.
Father, we pray for his back to be healed. We ask that you ease his breathing and grant him renewed strength. We know that you are able to do all things including giving him healing. We believe, Lord, in the power of your word that brings you healing. We believe that your word will not return to void, but will accomplish what you desire and achieve the purpose for which you sent it.
We also ask that you provide for his needs, Lord. Open the doors for a new job, and give him the strength and health to walk through those doors. We ask we pray that you are guiding him and directing him.
We also pray that you would draw him ever closer to you. We pray that you would be guiding him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that he would be believing in Jesus and what is written about him in the scriptures. If he is already saved, we ask that you would be strengthening his faith so that he will remain strong in you during these troubles.
We pray that he would have a great peace in him and you would be granting him the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, to please you in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of your glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of your love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
In Jesus name we pray.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His face, and trusting in His goodness. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
