We join you in the powerful name of Jesus, seeking God's mercy, forgiveness, and blessings upon your life. We stand in agreement for your financial needs, believing that God, who is the source and sustainer of all things, will make a way where there seems to be no way. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We pray for your work situation, asking that God's favor would surround you. We rebuke any spirit of error or fear that may be causing you anxiety, Romans 8:15 (WEB), "For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!'"
We lift up your mother, agreeing with you for her healing and strength. We declare that God's presence will remain with her, Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We pray for your future spouse, that God would prepare them and bring you together in His perfect timing. We encourage you to trust in God's plan and remember Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We admonish you to not be sexually intimate with anyone before marriage. Fornication or possibly adultery is a sin and against God's will for your life. Instead, choose to pursue purity and holiness, being yoked together with another believer in Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality. 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
We also pray that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit, that your heart and mind would be cleansed, and that you may pray with focus and sincerity. Ephesians 3:16-19 (WEB), "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
We give thanks to God for your faith and trust in His perfect plan and timing. We declare that He hears your prayers and the prayers of all who seek His guidance and mercy. John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
We explicitly also make a prayer for anyone who is unsaved in your family and circle of friends. We pray that they would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. That they would repent of their sins and become born again by believing in Jesus Christ. To remind us of the basic salvation message, we use the Roman Road using the World English Bible starting with Romans 3:23 (WEB), "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;" To Romans 6:23 (WEB), "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." To Romans 5:8 (WEB), "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." To Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." To Romans 10:13 (WEB), "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" To remind us that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
