Dear Lord I am devastated at having let this wonderful job slip by ...help me overcome and accept it ...that my life out there is over

We understand that you're feeling devastated about missing out on a job opportunity, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and His ways are higher than our ways. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says WEB, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope."

In times of disappointment, it's crucial to turn to God for comfort and guidance. We must trust that He is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see the bigger picture. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's essential to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And we read Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling devastated at this time. Lord, we ask that You comfort them and help them to overcome this disappointment. Help them to accept Your will and to trust in Your plan for their life. Give them the strength and courage to move forward, and open up new opportunities for them that align with Your purpose. Help them understand that there is no other way to you but by Jesus Christ. If there is a question about their salvation, please bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ your son in a way that they will understand and believe. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If you are trusting in Jesus, continue to hold onto God's promises and remain faithful in prayer. If you are not sure about your salvation, turn to Jesus Christ and ask him to come into your life and save you. Keep seeking God's will for your life, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in WEB with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."

We're here with you, friend, feeling your disappointment. It's like losing a precious opportunity, and it's okay to feel upset. But remember, God sees the bigger picture. He's got a plan, and it's not always easy to understand, but it's always good. Let's trust that He's working this out for your good, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

We've been there too, feeling like we've missed out on something big. But God always has a way of turning things around. Let's hold onto that promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim that over your situation.

And hey, let's not forget to involve Jesus in this. He's not just a name we mention, but the way, the truth, and the life. There's no other way to the Father but through Him. So, let's bring this to Him in prayer, together.

Dear Jesus, we come to You with our friend today. They're feeling lost and disappointed, but we trust that You're working things out for their good. Help them to accept Your will, to trust in Your plan, and to find new opportunities that align with Your purpose. Comfort them, Jesus. Help them to understand that there's no other way to the Father but through You. If there's any doubt about their salvation, please reveal Yourself to them in a way that they'll understand and believe. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I have been there too. eventually you’ll feel better. keep trying. jobs may take a long time to get. everybody makes mistakes. you’re only human. so don’t blame yourself or be hard on yourself.
the most important thing is self confidence. and give yourself some credit. honestly your skills and a job will be happy to hire you.
