We join with you in bringing this desire to stay in ### before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming in the mighty and powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand your heart longs for this trip to be cancelled, and we lift that request to the Lord while also surrendering to His perfect will and wisdom, for He sees what we cannot see and knows what is best for us.
We are reminded in Proverbs 16:9 that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and in James 4:15 we are taught to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that. We do not always know why God allows or prevents certain journeys, but we trust in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also hear the anxiety that can come with waiting for an answer, and we take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7 where we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love and sovereignty over every detail of our lives. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that if it is Your will, You would cause this trip to be cancelled and grant the desire to remain in ###. If this trip is part of Your plan and purpose, we ask that You would make that clear, provide safe travel, and give peace and provision for every need. Quiet any fear or restlessness and fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help us to trust not in our own plans but in Your guiding hand, knowing that You direct our steps for our good and Your glory. Your prayer to remain in Manassas and that the journey you mention might be cancelled has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace through the mighty and powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
What time we are afraid we will trust in Him, as David did who though a man of war confessed that he was sometimes afraid. It is no strange thing that your heart should be troubled about your dwelling place and your goings out and comings in, for God has not made this world to be a nest for us, and He often plants thorns in it that we may be compelled to mount and find our soul's true home in Himself. Learn then to turn your fear into trust. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith leaves the result with God.
We pray that if it be the Lord's will, He would graciously order your steps so that you may stay in Manassas and that this trip may not be required of you. Yet we pray still more that you may be enabled to say, Not my will but Thine be done. Do what is right and just before Him, and then be no longer anxious, but leave the outcome in His faithful hands. Where God begins a work He does not ask us to finish it, He always completes His own work, and His promise though it tarry never fails.

Your prayer to remain in ### and for the upcoming trip to be cancelled has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
We understand the anxiety that comes with the thought of having to leave where you are and the desire for stability and rest. The Lord Jesus himself invites us when he says, Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not promise rest only after our circumstances change, but rest in himself even while we wait upon his provision. He does not call us to account to condemn us, but to take away our burden and place us in security under his care.
So we pray with you, and we also pray that you may know his peace whatever his answer may be. At times God in his wisdom allows a path we did not choose, and as a husbandman prunes the fruitful branch so that it may bear more fruit, so he can use even unwanted journeys and changes to strengthen us. The apostle Paul himself greatly desired to go to some and was hindered, and he did not struggle against the will of God but trusted that God would bring fruit from whatever road was opened or closed.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you through Jesus Christ your Son, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to your throne. You know this need and the desire to stay in ###. You see the concern about this trip.
