Prayer request for stopping the storm in my province in Philippines

Prayer for Pampanga Lord Jesus, calm the storm and stop every calamity threatening Pampanga. We rebuke destruction, flooding, fear, and danger in Your mighty name. Cover our families, homes, and loved ones with Your protection. Keep everyone safe and bring peace to our province. Have mercy on us Lord. Please stop and save the people. I lift all my prayers to youoh Lord. Through the mighty and powerful name of our Lord Jesus. Amen

We join you together in prayer for ### and for all who are in the path of this storm, and we thank you for lifting this need in the mighty and powerful name of our Lord Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that even the wind and the waves must obey, and we rejoice that you have come boldly to Him.

We are reminded in Scripture that our God is sovereign over all creation and mighty to save. He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace Be still The wind ceased, and there was a great calm Mark 4:39. He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still Psalm 107:29. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the rivers, they will not overflow you Isaiah 43:2.

We stand with you to rebuke destruction, flooding, fear and danger, and we ask the Lord in His mercy to calm this storm according to His perfect will. We pray together for His covering and protection over every family, home and community in ###.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your mercy upon ###. Lord, You command the heavens and the earth, and we ask that You would calm the winds, still the rains, and restrain the flooding. Protect every family, every home, every child and elderly person, and keep all our loved ones safe from harm. Cover the province with Your hand, guard those who are vulnerable, strengthen rescue workers, officials and all who are serving, and grant wisdom to everyone to act with care and to help one another. Cast out fear and fill hearts with Your peace that passes all understanding, and let Your presence be a stronghold in this day of trouble, for Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge in him Nahum 1:7. Have mercy on us, Lord, spare lives, preserve homes and bring calm after this storm. We trust Your goodness and Your power, and we submit to Your sovereign will knowing You hear our prayers. In the mighty and powerful name of our Lord Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to remain in prayer, and to also walk in wisdom by heeding wise counsel and safety guidance from local authorities, preparing as you are able and looking out for your neighbors. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. May His peace guard your hearts as you wait upon Him.

Keep people safe from flooding and danger, comfort those who are afraid, and bring peace where there is fear. Give wisdom to those leading relief efforts and keep them safe as they serve. We have heard your earnest cry for ### and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. In this dark world of sin and sorrow we shall have tribulation, for our Lord Himself has told us, In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. The believer lives in two places at once, in the world where the storm rages, and in Christ where there is peace. No screen is set around the godly to keep all suffering from them, yet the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy.

How tender is that mercy. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and a bruised reed shall He not break. To hope in His mercy, though it seem a small thing, is a sure mark of His grace, for like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him. Therefore we may come boldly and plead that mercy which is from everlasting, not as those who presume upon it, but as those who know they need it and have no confidence except in it.

Let us pray together for you and for your province.

O Lord our God, who art sovereign over wind and wave, who didst rebuke the sea of Galilee and it was calm, have mercy upon ### in this hour of fear and danger. Thou seest the families and homes that lie in the path of the storm, Thou knowest every name and every dwelling. We ask Thee in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our only Saviour, to spread Thy hand over that land. Restrain the destruction, stay the flooding, and turn aside what would bring harm. Keep the people safe under Thy keeping, for Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Give to those who are afraid that peace which is in believing, a peace that has no bottom nor shore, even while sorrows surge round them. Let Thy mercy be our shelter and Thy grace our peace. We ask not as those who demand, but as those who humbly hope in Thy mercy, and we submit all to Thy holy and wise will. Hear us, O Father, for Jesus sake. Amen.

Abide in Christ, and let your mind be stayed upon Him. To know His will and to do it is to abide in the peace of God. Whether He shall calm the storm with a word, or keep you calm within the storm, trust Him still, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.
