We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children and is mighty to save. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and greatest need of every soul, and we pray that all who are mentioned here would come to know Jesus as their Savior if they have not already.
We begin by praying for your stomach and physical strength, dear one. The Lord is our Healer, and we claim His promise in Psalm 103:2-3: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray that He would touch your body with His healing hand, bringing restoration and relief from pain. Strengthen your body, Lord, and renew your energy, so that you may serve Him with vigor and joy. We also pray for your brother’s healing, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He bring complete healing to his body and peace to his soul.
We rebuke the temptations that seek to ensnare you and your brother. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee (James 4:7). We pray that the Lord would fortify your hearts with His Word, that you may walk in purity and righteousness, fleeing from every form of evil. Fill you both with the Holy Spirit, who gives power to overcome sin and live in victory.
We declare protection over you, your brother, and your home in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him you will find safety (Psalm 91:2). We pray against every evil influence, every spirit of fear, and every attack of the enemy. We specifically rebuke the presence of mold, odors, and any other unclean thing in your home, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that He would cleanse your home and fill it with His peace, so that it may be a sanctuary of rest and worship.
For your brother’s travels, we pray for traveling mercies, that the Lord would go before him and be his rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). Protect him from all harm and danger, and grant him safe passage wherever he goes.
We lift up the woman in rehab recovering from cancer, asking the Lord to strengthen her body and spirit. May He restore her health and grant her the grace to walk in full recovery, for "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We also pray for your stepmother and father, that their hearts would be softened to the gospel. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that He would draw them to Himself, open their eyes to the truth of Jesus Christ, and bring them into His kingdom. May they experience His healing, both physically and spiritually.
For your finances, we pray that the Lord would provide for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Teach you to trust in Him, for He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May He grant you wisdom in managing your resources and open doors of opportunity for provision.
Finally, we pray for peace in your home and restful sleep for you and your brother. The Lord gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that He would quiet your minds and bodies, filling you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May your home be a place of refuge, where the presence of God dwells and His peace reigns.
Heavenly Father, we lift up all these requests to You, trusting in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power. Strengthen this family, heal their bodies, protect their home, and draw them closer to You. May they experience Your love in tangible ways and walk in the victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
