Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing so much of what is on your heart and for allowing prayer to be offered for you and your family. The Lord sees every detail you mentioned and He cares for both the body and the soul. There is a deep peace that comes from knowing that God is in control and from committing your life fully to Him, trusting His plans rather than pushing against them.
I am praying for your physical needs. I ask the Lord to touch your digestive system and stomach and bring healing, to strengthen your body where you have felt weak, to heal the rash and infection and the bump on your leg, and to take away the constant humming in your ear. Scripture teaches that it is in the name of Jesus that healing and wholeness come, and that His name brings comfort and peace. Just as there are physical laws that hold us in place, there are spiritual realities that govern our lives, and God has promised blessing and peace to those who walk with Him. May He restore you as one who was in great need and then was lifted up, so that your response can be like a thank offering to Him for what He has done.
I am also praying for your mind and your home. I ask God to guard your home from evil, to clear your mind where mold and odors have troubled you, and to give you protection from stress, anxiety, worry, fear, anger, trauma and troubling thoughts. The burnt offering in Scripture spoke of consecration, giving ourselves completely to God, and the peace offering spoke of communion and fellowship with Him. As you give yourself to Him, He gives back fellowship and rest. He is our peace who breaks down walls and quiets the heart. I pray He will give you and your brother true peace in your home, better sleep, and protection from bad dreams, and that you will both have strength to resist temptation and to walk in the Spirit with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. The crossing of the Jordan pictured the laying down of the self life so that we can live in the victory God has promised.
For your family, I pray that your father will come to salvation through Jesus Christ alone and that the Lord will bring healing and comfort to him in his grief after the loss of his wife, and comfort to her family as well. I pray for your sister and her family that they will come to know Jesus, that God will deliver her from smoking and heal her body including diabetes, help her with her drivers test, and restore your relationship together in a way that honors Him. For your brother, I ask for traveling mercy, for protection from harm and from evil people at work, for favor with supervisors and coworkers, and for wisdom, knowledge and understanding in his new position as a lead. I pray God will give him humility and self control, help him not to give in to anger or pride, but to surrender fully to the Lord and to make Jesus Lord of his life, and that the Lord will provide what he needs for promotion and provision according to His will.
I am praying too for your finances and for wisdom regarding your house, that God will guide you clearly about selling and finding a place to rent, and provide for your needs. I pray for those in authority over the nation, that God will give them wisdom, strength and protection, and for all nations caught in war and for those who serve, that God will protect and restrain wickedness, raise up godly leadership, and bring revival where there is great need. I pray for the one recovering from cancer that it will not return and that she will be strengthened at home, and for the one who had a stroke and struggles to speak, that the Lord will restore her speech. I also pray for the land where you live, that God will send rain and snow in season and provide water to prevent drought.
May the Lord help you to rest in His care, to offer your life to Him each day and to walk in fellowship with Him, remembering that He is at work for your good and that His hand is upon those who trust Him. Peace be to you, for your God helps you.
