You have brought a heavy load of requests, and none of it is hidden from the Lord. He cares about your body, your home, your family, your finances, and the conflict in the world around you. The same Lord who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows is the one we ask for healing. The chastisement that brings us peace was upon him, and by his wounds there is healing. That hope is not only about forgiveness; it reaches the physical body and the troubled mind. So we can ask him for your ###, your ###, your ###, the ### on your leg, and the ### in your ear, asking him to touch what you cannot fix.
I do not understand why some healings come suddenly and others gradually, but the Lord is not limited to one pattern. Even a slow recovery is his work. He also heals the mind from strain, anxiety, bad thoughts, and the weight of your surroundings. Because your body and mind are connected, ask him to renew both. He gives strength to the weary, and I am praying for physical strength for you as well.
But lasting peace begins with being right with God. There is no true peace while a life remains at war with him. Jesus himself is our peace. When sins are forgiven and life is surrendered to him, the inner war quiets, and then the fruit of his Spirit can grow: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Those are exactly what your home needs.
So I pray not only for your circumstances, but for every person in your family to know Jesus as Lord. I pray for your father in his grief, that the Lord would comfort him and draw him to salvation. I pray for your sister and her household, for salvation, for restoration of your relationship, for deliverance from ###, for healing from ### and whatever else is wrong, and for success in her test. I pray for your brother in his new position: wisdom, knowledge, understanding, favor with supervisors and coworkers, protection from evil, strength for his work, and a spirit that resists pride and anger and walks in the Spirit instead of the flesh.
I pray for protection over your home from every evil, from mold and harmful odors, from stress, anxiety, worry, fear, anger, trauma, and bad thoughts. I ask the Lord to clear your mind, give you and your brother better sleep, and guard you both from bad dreams. I pray he would provide a way to sell your home and find the right place to rent, and I ask him to supply your finances and calm the pressure you have been carrying.
For your nephew, I will ask the Lord that the truth would be made plain in court and that justice would be done. If he is innocent, may he be cleared and freed. If he is guilty of any wrong, may he face the truth, repent, and receive mercy through Jesus Christ. Either way, I pray that this trial would turn his heart to the Lord, and that afterward he would have a place to live, meaningful work, a church home, and a Bible open before him.
I also lift up those in war and those sent into danger. Ask the Lord to protect them, to frustrate the plans of the wicked, and to raise up leaders who fear him. Pray for revival where the gospel is needed, and for a peace that is more than a slogan. And I will pray for rain where it is needed, because the Lord knows what the land requires.
Above all, I ask that you and those you love would hear the offer of peace God makes through his Son. He says peace to those who are far off and peace to those who are near. That peace is not denial of trouble; it is the steady confidence that God has made a way through Jesus Christ. May that peace keep your mind and soul as you wait for his answers.
