We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing and deliverance. It is clear that the enemy has sought to steal peace, rest, and soundness of mind through insomnia and spiritual attacks. We stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and strength (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Witchcraft and demonic influences are real, but they are no match for the power of Jesus Christ. He has already disarmed these powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, insomnia, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. We command them to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also recognize that physical and spiritual healing often go hand in hand. The Lord invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest (Matthew 11:28). Insomnia can be a heavy burden, but we serve a God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). We pray that the Lord would grant you deep, restorative sleep, free from fear and disturbance. May your mind be at peace, guarded by the peace of God, which transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Let us also examine our lives for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy access. Have there been any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices, even unknowingly? The Bible is clear that we must resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). This begins with submitting ourselves to God, drawing near to Him, and cleansing our hands and purifying our hearts (James 4:8). If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s Word, we encourage you to repent and turn away from it. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and His grace is sufficient to restore and renew.
We pray for complete healing, spirit, soul, and body. May the Lord rebuke every attack of the enemy and restore your mind to wholeness. We declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you, giving life to your mortal body (Romans 8:11). We speak life over your mind, your sleep, and your entire being. May the Lord surround you with His angels, protecting you from every evil influence (Psalm 91:11).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your Word, which declares that You will satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation (Psalm 91:16). Lord, we ask for complete deliverance from insomnia and every spirit of witchcraft that has sought to afflict this dear one. We break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Grant them deep, restful sleep, free from fear and torment. Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore their mind to wholeness. We pray for Your healing touch to flow through every part of their body, bringing restoration and vitality. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be their comfort and shield.
We also ask that You reveal any areas in their life that need to be surrendered to You. If there is any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in anything that does not honor You, bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and turn away. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, we thank You that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26) and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.

Yours is a cry that rises from the battlefield where the enemy seeks to torment the mind with sleeplessness and dark oppression. But know this: the Head of the serpent is bruised. Satan has been overthrown by the seed of the woman, the Lord Jesus Christ, and in Him your deliverance is already accomplished. The power of witchcraft is a broken power, a defeated foe, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You ask for complete healing and deliverance, and this is precisely what the Great Physician delights to give. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. A single word from Him, being His and recognized as His, brings healing to head and heart. Do you not know its power by joyful experience? Let that word come home to you now.
The healing of the head and the deliverance from these attacks must be found by looking altogether to your heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification; where we look for pardon, there we look for healing. They are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He spoke pardon and wholeness in one breath: "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." O that the Sun of Righteousness would now rise upon you with healing in His wings, driving out every shadow of the midnight of despair. The least thing about Christ is healing. Lean your aching head upon His bosom, as John did, and in that posture of trust you shall find peace. The more you know of Him, the more you abide in Him, the more sure you shall feel that He is yours and that no plague can come nigh your dwelling.
Consider this also: the Lord has not forsaken them that seek Him, nor will He do so, world without end. Does the Head forget a finger? Has He who wrote your name in wounds upon His hand and side forgotten you? Down with such blaspheming thought. Your deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. He who has begun this good work in you will never withdraw His hand until He brings you safe within the pearly gates. The clock of mercy has already struck the hour of your release, for the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it. Therefore lift up your head. Do not entertain the lie that God’s ear is shut or that He will not move His arm for you. That is an arrow shot from the pit. You have a far richer theme for music; you have been delivered from worse enemies, and saved by a greater salvation. Let gratitude deepen, let your song be more jubilant, for He who has delivered and does deliver will yet deliver.
