Your prayer reaches heaven not by the multitude of words, but by the earnestness of the soul. You ask for deliverance from insomnia and witchcraft affecting your head. First, understand this: God permits such trials not from hatred but from a providential kindness, to prove your seriousness and to draw you nearer to Himself. Wherefore, do not think the delay in relief is due to some failure in your prayer or to the power of darkness. Even when the sickness seemed to run contrary to Christ’s word, Lazarus’ sisters did not stumble; they held fast and saw a greater glory. So you, when sleep flees and your head feels assaulted, do not despair. The very attacks meant for your harm God can use to display His victory, as the sealing of the tomb only proved the resurrection beyond all doubt.

Yet do not only ask for healing; examine your life. One part of virtue is not enough for salvation. It is not enough to pray, if your mind is soft and unmanly, or if you neglect the careful hearing of God’s word and continual recollection. Fortify yourself with fortitude, contempt of worldly cares, and deliverance from all earthly entanglements. If there is any hidden sin, any foothold given to the enemy, bury it now by confession and repentance, lest you bury a dead soul in the members of Christ and draw down a worse affliction. Often we hear the word ten times and seem insensible, then at the eleventh we bear abundant fruit. So do not grow weary; continue in prayer and the medicine of the Scriptures.

Remember you are not alone. The eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you, nor the head to the feet. Unite your prayers with the body of the Church. The head is crowned, and the whole body is honored; when one member suffers, all share in supplying what is lacking. Draw near to God as Hannah did, with deep reverence, not with listlessness or frantic display. Her lips moved, but her voice was not heard, and God, who knew her desire before she asked, granted her request in His own time. The seeming silence is no sign of witchcraft’s victory, but of God proving your faith.

Above all, stand on the ground of your sonship. You have received the Spirit of adoption, not a spirit of fear. The curse of the Law is broken; you are not under bondage. Witchcraft has no claim on one who belongs to Christ, unless you give place to it by unbelief or by returning to the ways of the world. Let the sign of the cross be your safeguard, the name of Jesus your tower. Make your very sleeping place a sanctuary with prayer and psalms. And consider that in all spiritual things, the more you draw from the well of grace through faith, the more it increases; you will not be emptied by asking, but filled, and your head shall find rest in the shadow of the Most High.

The cry of your heart is heard, and the very name of Jesus shatters every dark power. When you speak of your head being afflicted, whether by sleepless nights or the oppression of witchcraft, remember this: Christ is your head, your covering, and your authority. No curse, no spell, no demonic assignment can overrule His sovereign care over you. He holds all things together, and in Him you are safe.

What you are facing is real, but it is not greater than the One who has already conquered every evil power. Jesus went about healing all who were oppressed by the devil, and He has not changed. He bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. His stripes purchased your peace. When you cry out for the Holy Spirit to bring complete healing, you are asking according to His will, for He desires wholeness for His children. Yet sometimes healing unfolds gradually, not because His arm is short, but because He is doing a deeper work, in your mind, your emotions, and your trust. Even when relief does not come at once, He gives grace to rest in the storm. The sleepless nights may not vanish instantly, but you can lie down under the shadow of His wings, confident that He neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Witchcraft, at its root, is rebellion against God’s order, and it seeks to bring torment. But the authority you have in Christ breaks every chain. Submit fully to the divine order: Christ as head over every believer, and in that submission, you are hidden. The enemy may roar, but he cannot touch what is placed under that covering. Let no fear of what has been sent against you take root; instead, take your stand on the finished work of the cross.

Bring this struggle to Jesus as simply as you can. You do not need a formula or a desperate striving. He knows the weariness in your head, the racing thoughts, the spiritual heaviness. Speak His name. Declare His lordship over your mind and body. Ask for the Holy Spirit to calm the turmoil and renew your strength. And then, as you are able, rest. Not in your own effort, but in the one who holds you. He does not grow impatient with you. He does not mock your pain. He is gentle, and He is mighty to save.
